The FS-900 Multidyne 3-in-1 Fiber Optic Base Station from JVC is part of a fiber optic system designed for the GY-HM890 ProHD Camcorder. The system supports 3G-SDI 1080p/60 camera feeds & returns, and takes advantage of the camera's built-in streaming engine for video-over-IP functionality.

Up to three cameras are supported by the Base Station, and its redundant power supplies provide up to 150W for each camera, as well as prompters and monitors. With built-in gigabit Ethernet, the lightweight, 2 RU Base Station also allows video-over-IP, control, and advanced configuration. The high-quality 1080p video signals are ideal for webcasts, virtual sets, and image magnification (I-MAG) applications. The system integrates easily with any studio, mobile truck, or portable flypack, and connects directly with a facility's switcher, router, intercom, and house sync systems.

A: We could not find any significant difference between the two. It appears to be a difference known only to Manfrotto. We therefore suggest buying the cheaper one while you can.

A: Yes most heads are 1/4-20 or 3/8-16 ,this monopod takes both

A: Nanlite makes 3 very nice octa quick open boxes a 120cm (47") , 90cm (35") & 60cm (24") . Their is also a 3'x2' rectangular sotbox .

Q: 6. I have a TRAM TR-50 lav mic that is made to use with the Senn EW100 G3 system. I have teh Senn ME2 as well that came with the G3 kit. I would like to be able to use both the TR-50 and the ME2 wired to my SD-302. Since the TR-50 is wired to work with the G3 I assume this would work to use it wired (in lieu of the TRAM TR 79+ unit for the same purpose). Can anyone who as ACTUALLY done this confirm that it will work? I too assume it will, but would like to hear from someone who has actually done it if at all possible. Thanks!

A: I know it doesnt work with my Countryman B3. I think it is tuned for the ME2. It clips and distorts with my Countryman. It is possible if the TRAM is similar sensitivity as ME2.

Q: 7. the mount bowens of the light is totally universal? I saw that not all mounts are compatible

A: The Nanlite units like this one are fully compatible with the various Bowens S mount accessories on the market.

Q: 8. Is there a way to rack mount this?

A: I would recommend a universal rack shelf and hook and loop tape. However, I recommend making sure the antennas are not inside the rack enclosure during usage for best performance.

Q: 9. Will this fit a Nikon d3300 standard 18-55mm? Seeking super easy collapsible lens hood for kit lens for traveling.

A: No it won't fit. The Nikon 18-55mm lens has a 52mm threaded filter mount and this lens hood is 55mm so you would need a collapsible hood that was 52mm and not 55mm. Hope that helps.

Q: 10. will this fit a Minolta MC Rokkor X 50mm PG f/1.4 ?

A: Yes. The 55mm filter thread of the 50mm PG f1.4 will accommodate this hood.

Just note that this are single channels per box. So you essentially used the SDI output as an additional out which is nice and saves us a DA. Took a chance on an unknown player and happy to say they worked. These are the same guys that own lilliput (shared a booth at NAB at least) 5

The Complex Lemo Camera Cable with the jackreel is great! We have a system inside but since the pandemic we needed this product to run our camera and function outside. We are still able to function with our switcher in a control room because of this cabling. Great product for indoor or outdoor use. It has been a life saver not worrying about needing more cable... The jackreel is great for storage without tngles and messy wires. 5

Plugged it in and it worked with no adjustments or configuration necessary. Long connection with fiber looks exactly like short connection with DVI cable. I'm running a 1920 x 1200 monitor at 60 Hz. 5

I had to drill large holes in the very center of the plate to allow for easy in/out of the short end of the cable. After that these reels worked great. Totally worth the price and the headache relief of under/over cable wrapping until your arms fall off. I started with 1 and bought 5 more recently. 5

We have used this product many times for sending the DVI signal 700+ feet from the computer. No problems at all. Just attach them and they work. 5
