A: The Nikon P1000 only weighs 3.11 lbs, which is nearly half the load capacity of this tripod. However, extending the zoom on the camera would added more weight to the front. Your results may vary.

Q: 4. My DSLR weights 1.62 lbs and my 24-70 lens weighs 2.15 lbs for a total of 3.77 lbs. While the tripod capacity is 6 lbs, the weight of my lens extends beyond the camera body by 4.5 inches, putting a strain on the ball head to stay in place and not droop. I am concerned about this unless I can be assured the ball head will support that much weight forward?

A: I have a canon 5D Mark3 + 24-70 2.8. Both on top of this table tripod and it works flawlessly. Just make sure that one of the legs is parallel to the lens or else it will tip over. I havent experience any droopings with my table tripod

A: If you plan on using this tripod on the beach I would set somehting underneath it to prevent from coming into direct contact with the sand.

Q: 6. is the screw in the base also 1/4-20? I may want to attach a spotting scope to the base and not use the ball head. The scope is threaded for 1/4-20

A: It is 1/4-20, and it has a 3/8 thread adapter on it to fit the ball head.

A: Any Nikon lens to Fujifilm camera adapter would work. We currently sell over a dozen options to choose from with various different functions and features.

[41 °F] I picked up 2 of these - thinking that, if they work, they'll give me some flexibility for not a lot of money. I installed the adapter on a 5600k 1080 LED panel light, then installed 2 x generic new-ish 8800 mAh / 65 Wh L series batteries. At full power, the light ran for just under 100 minutes. Then I tried installing 2 older Sony NP-F570 batteries - 2100mAh / 15.8 Wh. The light wouldn't power up. The lesson I'll take from this test is to use only high-capacity batteries. The tabs that hold the batteries in place are plastic. This wouldn't be a robust solution in a production environment, but I'd recommend it if you have a lot of L series batteries and might occasionally need to power something that has a V-mount plate. 5

[9.6 in] This mini tripod is a great buy! I was shopping for a small, compact accessory to use as a prop for some of my kit with 1/4-20 mounts and this little stand fills the bill perfectly. Its all-metal construction has tight joints and, with the legs fully extended, the diameter of support provides excellent stability for heavier items like gimbals and LED lights. Id easily buy more of these if needed! 5

[41 °F] I own a small home studio and I'm in the process of completing acoustic treatment in the room. I decided to mount a distant ribbon mic high in the far corner of the room. To tame frequencies in that corner I built a 1' X 1' X 2 acoustic panel with 703 insulation, a wood frame and FR701 fabric. Rather than hang this panel I wanted to do a rigid mount from the ceiling. I had a number of Matthews MicroGrip arms and clamps but I needed two mounts: one for the ceiling and one for the back of the panel. The CAMVATE Mounts are a lifesaver! They allowed me to do the rigid mount that I envisioned. Of course you can't do pull ups on this, but the MicroGrip hardware allows me to angle and articulate the exact placement of the panel in a solid manner. 5

[113 °F] I was hesitant about investing another $ 120,00 in these subwoofer isolators. Right after I set them up under my Genelec 7350a, the difference was so obvious that I couldn't believe it. Absolutely worth it. 5
