[41 °F] We are using these AIDA cameras as an NDI source in a live theater setting, to live-stream shows. The image quality is extremely good, the internal web-server for configuration is easy to use, and being able to simply plug these into any power-over-ethernet port around the theater and have it up and running at a new location is a game-changer. Amazing quality and usability at a relatively low price.

[41 °F] As a daily aviation blogger I use my AX53 350 days a year. Outdoor filming rain or shine heat and cold and the AX53 comes through with quality content. Light weight, compact, awesome zoom. Long battery life outstanding stabilization system.

[41 °F] This is a fine camera but first, it took a little effort to get it up and running because the factory default frame rate is 30fps, and none of my Marshall monitor's accepted it. Finally, using an ordinary TV set I managed to change the rate to the monitor rate and now it works just fine.
Second, the provided remote control works fine with this camera, but the nearly identical-looking remote control provided for the Marshall CV350-10XB does not seem to work with the CV355-10X. Should it?

[41 °F] We've been using this camera for Sports and live events production for almost a year and it has always produced beautiful pictures. Being able to digitally pan and tilt the camera and adjust the color balance remotely is huge for us.

[41 °F] These varifocal zoom cameras don't hold focus through the zoom range, as previous review stated, so as you adjust zoom position (or focal length) the camera runs a AF (auto focus) which seems to be very precise on this cameras. I haven't found a camera at this price range that compares to it...highly recommend it.

[104 °F] My setup includes an FX30 and an Audio Technica AT897. Recording setting included 48v, 100hz filter, and manual gain staging.

My test recording included a medium moving creek, stepping on dry leaves, helicopters overhead, a motorcycle, cars running over standing water, several varieties of birds, and a bluetooth speaker on a picnic bench 20ft away.

I am amazed at the imaging. It portrays an almost 3d like quality. The sound is accurate. Preamps are quiet and have plenty of gain. The mic is decoupled very well and I had no handeling noise.

In comparison to the other two field recording devices and brands that I own, this is miles ahead of those and it is attached to a camera. Lol Do your FX30 or FX3 a favor and pair it with quality sound with this device. It is worth the price. Otherwise you looking at buying a pricier Sound Devices unit, a hard to find heavy Nagra, or another pricer hard to find Sony PCM. This is it.

My experince: I have an audio engineering degress and have own a studio. It has been running well over 20 years now. We have a beautiful AMS Neve console and many pieces of gear including Manley, API, SSL, Elysia, Empirical Labs, Avalon, and Amek to name a few.
