[1.5 A] I have had this product for nearly 3 years - simple to set up, switches between Mac & PC with two 2560x1440 displays and logitech wireless mouse / keyboard. Super easy to use - couldn't have hoped for a more trouble-free better product.

[USB 3.0] This KVM offers simple setup, easy switching, and excellent quality. Opening the box I found the product to be well built and all the cables seem to be of above average quality. All the cables appear to be very flexible as my 2 windows Pc's are in a kind of an awkward position, I was impress I could maneuver the cables with ease. The simple control switch is easy to use and the ability to switch between the 2 pcs is excellent. I was getting some screen flicker with when connected to one computer but discovered I forgot to tighten the one vga cable. Not the units fault but user error. Once everything was snug it worked perfectly.

[32.8' / 10 m] Since I only needed this for video and keyboard, I haven't tested the way in which it handles audio. But for my needs� (switching between Mac Pro 5,1 and a Macbook Pro) it works fine. I did need two adapters to go from Display Port to Mini Display Port.

[100 to 240 AC] Having compared prices between this KVM with others, I was taking a risk by not knowing will this switch validate such a price gap from its cheaper competitors.
Outcome? Well worth it! As instructed, I used wired connections for my keyboard and mouse and everything connected without a problem. The switch easily and quickly moves between my four computers (3 PCs and 1 Mac). The keys and mouse as well as video perform perfectly.
When I had to reconfigure my office everything had to be unplugged. When I set everything back up, my monitor displayed "HDMI Out of Range" for all my computers. Not good. Went on to the website and found an excellent video that instructed me on how to reset my switch. I followed the video's very clear audio/visual instructions and everything works again!
Thanks Startech for making a very good product that met the expectations I had with its price. Then, also for putting together an excellent website with the resources needed to allow me to correct my problem.

[1.5 A] Make sure to actually use the usb output that matches the computer your are testing your mouse+keyboard with. I had the keyboard+mouse not working like some mentioned in other comments/reviews. I contacted the support team which helped me make it work correctly. It's silly but we never know what would have with lack of coffee :) .

[4] I would recommend this to anyone with dual monitors and two pc’s. The only issue I had was that Windows 7 kept adjusting the displays when I switched between computers. It was a real annoyance to find all my windows, icons and screen resolutions messed up every time I switched. I finally after about a week of annoyances found a setting in my catalyst control center to disable display polling which fixed the problem for me.

[100 to 240 AC] Switch worked perfect out of the box. It was purchased mainly to take care of workstation and laptop being connected to the same monitor (ASUS) through DisplayPort. Bonus - now I can use same keyboard. Works great so far.

[4] So far so good. We have this installed with 4 of our computers and use this to manage 8 inputs in our virtual studio. Very happy to have this all be managed with one mouse and keyboard!
