[0.3 lb] I bought this card about six months ago to the SATA SSD in a Dell Precision 5810 workstation using a 1 terabyte Samsung 970 Evo Plus as the boot drive. It was easy to setup and the performance has been great. I work in technology for a living and have been buying parts like this from StarTech for 10 plus years and I've never been disappointed with their products or their support. If I were, I have no doubt they would take care of it. Before you install any kind of PCI Express card to use an NVMe SSD as a boot drive, do the research to make sure your systems supports it. Otherwise, that's on you for not "reading the directions". 5

[0.3 lb] B&H shipped this in a padded envelope which was crushed on one end. Samsung's packaging prevented damage to the product. Very easy installation & setup using windows computer management to format. Great for storage of edited photos & videos. Runs a little warmer than my 970 pro & 970 EVO drives but only by about (2 C). Write speed is faster but read speed is about the same as the 970's. 5

[0.3 lb] I decided to downsize my computer and put it into a micro-ATX case, and the board I bought only had 1 slot for an NVMe drive, while my old board had two. Bought this to take care of that issue and it works great! I have an XFX SWFT RX 6600, and it fits close under the GPU but doesn't cause any issues other wise. I haven't benchmarked the drive to see if the reads and writes are the same, keep that in mind if that's important to you. For me, this is just a secondary storage drive, so speed isn't vital. If you have a larger GPU like an Nvidia RTX 4080, make sure you have enough room when your GPU is installed that you can fit this into the slot below. 5
