The exterior of the battery has a rubber-like coating that gives the user a firm grip and gives the battery a degree of impact resistance. A: Hmmm.... I'm not sure that I have noticed that. Then again it's often hard to keep track of which batteries have been charged and which have not when you have so many of them. That does sound strange in general though.

A: That's what I use and it works. I did find the Dracasts lose their charge much faster than the Switronics now Core batteries in the same category like the LP-L90A's. Maybe not as big a charge as well.

A: I'm sorry to say that at this time we do not have a solution beyond the standard DMW-BLC12 battery to power the Lumix G7. I'm afraid this would not work because we do not have a cable that will allow it to work.

A: Yes, although I assume that may be contingent on the D-Tap charger you're using. I'm not aware of any compatibility issues, but let's say that I'm 99% sure your D-Tap charger will be fine. I know mine was...although, as you you know, charging these batteries via D-Tap is SLOW.

A: You have to hold the battery check button on the side for two or three seconds. That turns on the usb port.

Q: 7. Based on the previous Q&A about using an AB Gold Mount charger to charge these batteries, I ordered two of them. I reviewed the batteries two days ago and cannot get them to charge at all on my AB charger. Is there a solution to my issue?

A: Unfortunately our batteries are not compatible with AB Gold Mount Chargers. There is a chip is all AB Chargers that communicate with all AB Batteries which allows for them to charge. I would recommend buying one of our chargers or one that is similar in order to charge up these batteries.

A: this is a standard V mount battery and will power the GVM MX150D Bicolor Panel
