Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this charger work with a NP-F330 Battery?

A: yes it will.

Q: 2. I bought this charger for the NP-W126 batteries for my Fuji X-E2 and enjoyed the small size and versatility on a recent extended vacation. I just bought a Fuji X100T and was ready to buy the Watson NP-95 charge plate for its batteries but when I tried to see how easy it is to change plates, it was not. After trying to slide the charge plate off, I finally had to use a flat blade jeweler's screwdriver to pry the plate up and release the latch. Tried it several times and had to pry the plate off? Is there something I'm missing here, a simple procedure to release the plate?

A: I checked my Watson Chargers; I have one each for the NP-W126 battery and the NP-95 battery. I my case, the plate for the 126 easily slides off pushing upwards away from the charging contacts. The plate for the 95 battery appears as if it would be removable using the same sliding motion, however, try as I might I cannot get it to budge and come free. As you might conclude from my first sentence to this reply, I find it just as easy and more convenient to just have two separate chargers (than to bother with changing plates). Hopes this helps.

Q: 3. Will this charger work for the LI-92B also?

A: The Watson AC/DC Charger for the LI-90B battery will not work with any other battery types. Unfortunately, we do not currently carry the battery charger for the LI-92B battery as a separate item.

Q: 4. Is this compatible for LC-E5? I have an Canon Rebel. My battery is not the 'LP'.

A: This is a replacement for a Canon LC-E5 charger, which takes the LP-E5 battery.

Q: 5. Does this battery have a light that turns a different color when the battery is fully charged?

A: Yes, it is red until charged, and then turns green when charged.

Q: 6. I have one of these already but thinking of buying another. Mine works but I'm puzzled by it. Only one of the charger prongs actually goes into the battery. The other is bent up so that it does not go into the battery. Is this the way it's meant to be? Because it does recharge, albeit very slowly.

A: The contacts should make connection with the battery. This charger does not have a listed recharge time but chargers of this type usually take about five hours for a NPF 750 sized battery.

Q: 7. What is the use of USB port on the side?

A: The USB port on the side can be used to charge items that use a USB port, such as an on-camera LED light.

Q: 8. What color should the light be when charging/ fully charged?

A: It should be red while charging and green when is fully charged

Q: 9. Will this charger fully charge the the fuji NP-W126 battery? I've heard that 3rd party chargers do not provide 100% charging.

A: I have not noticed any difference in charging or performance.

Q: 10. Am traveling to NZ/Australia/Hong Kong; do I need a converter for this to work properly or will a (mere) adapter suffice?

A: The charger is spec'd for 100 to 240 volts, 50/60 Hz. NZ, Australia, and Hong Kong all run with 240 volts, so it will work with a simple adapter. No converter is needed.

[Lithium-Ion] The Sony charger that came with my camera is a solid device but it requires a 110v outlet to operate. I chose this lightweight charger because it works in a 110v outlet but also has plug that fits into the cigar lighter of my car, so I can charge batteries on the fly. (I'm old enough to say cigar lighter in my car instead of the newer term, Power Outlet or whatever term they use now.)

The LED glows red when charging and turns to green when the charge is complete. On top of it all, the price is astoundingly low, making this a valuable and practical accessory.

[0.68 lb] These are great, and charge the Sony's faster then the USB connected versions out there, for those of you that don't know that fact, plug in power is much faster than USB, this is a great item.

[16.8 VDC] I have a two-battery Watson charger and it works great. The only downside is that it is physically large and takes up a big footprint in my bag. The single bay charger is much more compact and still uses the interchangeable plates to allow charging of most batteries (each battery requires its own plate, but all plates work with the charger). I tried a cheaper version from another manufacturer, but it did not work correctly. The Watson was the V2.0 charger and it works as advertised and expected.

[16.8 VDC] This charger does the job well at a very reasonable price. The fact that it is adaptable to many different camera batteries via inexpensive interchangeable plates is fantastic. I would not hesitate to buy it again.
