A: The Sony AG-R2 Attachment Grip is manufactured from rubberized elastomer and polycarbonate plastic. It will depend on the size and shape of your pocket if the Sony AG-R2 Attachment Grip will be able to slide easily into your pocket. However, if there is enough room in your pocket, the camera should still be easily accessible.

Q: 7. Will this fit the new Sony RX100VI?

A: I just purchased the RX100VI to replace my RX100II. Surprisingly enough, the lens diameter on the VI is smaller than the RX100II. If anything, there may even be a little bit of space between but I'll find out. The camera definitely needs the rubber grip - it is incredibly slick and with the little bit of added weight it's unwieldy without it. I'm going to order it tonight and see how well it works and I'll report back.

A: Yes, you can attach the grip to the case and it does not interfere with the cover. It's how I have my camera setup and works great.

[Adhesive] Easy to apply. Looks good--as if it's part of the camera--and it does the job, comfortably and with certainty...and for only $13.95. What more can you ask? Other reviews complain about its smallness...well, duuuuuhhh...it's a tiny camera, what do you expect??? It's just fine; if you have the need for a grip, this is great! 5

[0.1 lb] Th RX100 II and RX100 VI I own are very hard to hold securely because Sony made them stylishly smooth and curved. I'm sure Sony wouldn't sell as many of these cameras if this grip was built-in. But anyone that uses these cameras a lot will instantly see the utility of this easy to apply and inexpensive add-on. 5

[0.1 lb] Great little grip! Don't let that little 1200.00 camera slam into the floor. Remove the tape protector and make sure you put it on straight! Because it's not moving after applied. 5

[Adhesive] It's a bit strange that this accessory doesn't simply come with the $1300 camera but it is a near-must. This grip attaches easily and solidly, making for a much nicer feel when using the camera one-handed. I strongly recommend it to anyone using this camera. 5

[Adhesive] I feel this grip is a necessity to have on the Sony RX 100 series cameras. Without this grip, it was difficult to have the camera not slip in my hands. With this grip, one hand holding is easy and confident. It is a SONY branded accessory. The addition of the grip does not affect the camera fitting into the #LCSRXG/B SONY carrying case, assuming your version of the RX 100 will fit in the case initially. I have personally tested a RX 100-1 and a RX 100-VII with the case and both cameras fit in my copy of the case with the grip, although the RX 100-VII just barely fits into my copy of the case (lens barrel diameter). 5

[Adhesive] I do wish Sony had designed their RX100 cameras with more of a useful grip. So this accessory is an automatic must-have for me. Be sure to follow the instructions in mounting - the adhesive is quite strong. 5

[0.1 lb] Goes on easily, and fits perfectly on the new RX100-VI. Spacing around the control ring of the new zoom is uniform. I have the same exact grip on my RX100-III I bought four years ago and its fine, too. Still firmly adhered. 5

[0.1 lb] Recently purchased the Sony AG-R2 grip for my Sony RX100V and it does improve my grip and fits perfectly. To ensure a good adhesion I wiped the camera body with a little alcohol before aligning and pressing the grip into place. Also I let the grip set up overnight before handling the camera like the instructions recommend. 5
