Q: 6. Can I see the rings of saturn and the bands on jupiter with 20x80?

Q: 7. Do these come with a hard case?

A: No, the SkyMaster 20x80 comes with a soft case. Sincerely, Garrett at Celestron

Q: 8. I have a Celestron 25x100 binocular that came with a Celestron Alt-Azimuth tripod Model 93607 but they don't seem to mate very well and the tripod does not elevate more than a few degrees above hrozontal. Do I have the wrong tripod?

A: I have the same binoculars and tripod. The mating to the tripod is very solid; no problem at all. Perhaps you've sorted that out by now. The range of elevation angles is somewhat limited from what I'd prefer. It's about plus/minus 20 degrees. However, anything more could make it very awkward to sight through the binoculars.

Q: 9. Trying to confirm that this item includes an interface to mount to a tripod?

A: I believe so as I just screw mine directly to a camera tripod. I didn't have to purchase any adapter or extra parts.

Q: 10. I bought one of these very heavy binos. Used it a couple or 3 times on my Manfrotto t-pod. They are so heavy that, on the 4th or 5th nite, they stripped the threads off of the socket & it hit the pavement. This knocked both tubes out of alignment! At least the only external damage - to one tube - was an extremely small ding & a scratch or 2. STW - does anyone know of repair shops that do realignments? I'm in the Boston, MA area.

A: Sorry to hear your binocular got damaged. Please contact our technical support team and a representative will be able to assist you in getting your SkyMaster 20x80 repaired. The best way to reach them is by submitting a ticket here: https://www.celestron.com/pages/technical-support

[Individual] I compare this Binoculars with a 10 Reflector Astrograph Telescope i own, using a 21.5 mm Eyepiece, the difference is that i use both eyes,if you are a begginner i fully recommend you this product. You should use a tripod not so expensive for steady views. It is a stndard quality for a low Price.

[-4 to +4] The bin, I must say, is a deep sky marvel, if you're at a dark sight (practically required). This tripod I don't believe is rated for over 10lbs, which is necessarily a requirement in my opinion. The phone agent at B&H suggested I get instead a Magnus VT-350, and I'm happy to report that two are seemingly married to one another. Still, I find it difficult to snap the plate, having first been attached it to the rail, onto the tripod. I suspect, however, this is due primarily to the beefiness of the binocular (quite substantial), and no fault of the setup. And also to the fact that I've only practiced it once...

[3.5 mm] I am so happy I finally decided to buy these binoculars! I saw one 3-star review and was cautious, but I’m glad I pulled the trigger. Not sure what that other reviewer was referring to but zoom and magnification work perfectly and even at over 20x the image is still very good and not overly pixilated.

I’ve tried several digital night visions in the past and their standard optical image was usually 1x to 3x and as soon as you started zooming the image would become bad. This one starts at 6.5x and let me tell you – it’s crisp and sharp like a fine HDTV! Overall built qualityis excellent, but it was the image that blew me away. Miles better than not just any budget digital night vision, but better than those that cost more money! It has multiple color modes, each useful in different situations, takes 16MP photos and has video recording in true 2K resolution. They rate the rangefinder at 1635yds – I measured well beyond that! Don’t forget to switch from meters to yards in settings. It has a lot of features, so please read the manual. I plan to use it for both: stargazing and wildlife viewing. Do invest in a tripod and definitely get a good power bank, so you don’t have to worry about the batteries all the time.

Oh, and I received the product in 2 days – great service by B&H!

[20x] great product for both day and especially at night for viewing the stars and satellites moving around. I wifi to my iPad as a monitor while videoing the night sky, works great for panning on the tripod without having to keep the binos in my face. focus is a little touchy but just be gentle. for the price I am extremely happy, and shipping was FAST ! could you suggest a 12 inch portable monitor that is plug and play for these binos ??
overall I am extremely satisfied. I can see so much now that I couldn't before !!!

[3° (Actual)] When I got these, packed in two, not one, cases, I immediately set them up, with some difficulty, on the excellent Magnus VT-350 tripod that was quite properly recommended by the agent on the phone. Looking at a distant lightpole in front of a bright sky, I was struck by not only by the clarity of the detail (IF is great!), but also by the disparity of chromatic aberration. I planned on taking them out to the next scheduled star party with my Astronomical Society, to wow them a bit perhaps, but luck would have it, we were clouded out.
Anyway, I would not hesitate to persuade anyone to save big bucks by going ahead with these first and in the unlikely event you are not blown away, then empty your wallet for a more munificent product. Going that far is not something I readily do, but there you have it!
Clear skies and good luck for all of us seemingly cornered into this niche of observational obsessing...

[20x] This is a great pair of binoculars! It’s like having a rangefinder,
video camera, still camera, daylight zoom binocular and a night vision binocular – all at once! Just received it a few weeks ago and already tested it during the daytime to watch wildlife and at nighttime to stargaze and this is definitely the one you should buy if you just want one device that can do it all! Built quality is solid. It definitely feels like it’s worth the money you paid for it. Full color mode is great because you can see if the objects in the skies
change temperature and color. Daytime viewing is like having two mini-HDTVs right at your eyes. The colors are really bright and vivid. It has several different and very useful monochrome color viewing modes for nighttime, but just leave it in full color for daytime. Do get a power bank to feed it through USB port, so you won’t have to worry about changing batteries often. I will keep batteries inside as a backup only.  Rangefinder works great, you can leave it in automatic mode, and it will keep measuring distance every few seconds, or choose manual mode and it will only measure when you press the button. It has many features inside. I hope to explore each and every one of them in the coming weeks. So far, I am very happy with this purchase!
