  • IEEE 802.3ad link aggregation control protocol (LACP) and port trunking support up to 128 static, dynamic, or distributed trunks active across a stack, with each trunk having up to eight links (ports) per static trunk, while also offering support for trunking across stack members.
  • SmartLink provides easy-to-configure link redundancy of active and standby links.

  • SNMPv1, v2, and v3 provide complete support of SNMP; provide full support of industry-standard Management Information Base (MIB) plus private extensions; SNMPv3 supports increased security using encryption.

  • Unidirectional link detection (UDLD) monitors the link between two switches and blocks the ports on both ends of the link if the link goes down at any point between the two devices.

  • VLAN support and tagging support IEEE 802.1Q (4,094 VLAN IDs) and 2K VLANs simultaneously.
  • Jumbo packet support improves the performance of large data transfers; supports frame size of up to 9,220 bytes.
  • IEEE 802.1v protocol VLANs isolate select non-IPv4 protocols automatically into their own VLANs.
  • Rapid Per-VLAN Spanning Tree (RPVST+) allows each VLAN to build a separate spanning tree to improve link bandwidth usage; is compatible with PVST+.

[3.8 µs] First unit I ordered to Canada was DOA, powered up and just flashed the Ubiquiti light, went through troubleshooting with Ubiquiti and they said that its dead.
Contacted B&H and they sent me and RMA with prepaid shipping label to send it back to them free of charge.  They sent back a brand new one, but Canada charged me duty at the boarder for the new one but again B&H covered those costs for me.  Cant say enough good things about the customer service at B&H and the hassle free buying from Canada is amazing.
Now on to the actual switch.  I use Unifi Access points and a Unifi cloud key along with POE CCTV Cameras.  This things handles anything you throw at it with ease.  Super easy to set up and get going, configuring ports is a breeze with the Unifi software.
Bought the Unifi Fiber SFP and SFP+ units which worked great, just plug in and treat it like a patch cable, set up IPs and done.  Used the SFP+ for a backbone to the server which everything talks to and no matter how many clients, cameras etc are writing / reading from the server it never slows down the network.

Overall very happy with the unit but without B&Hs no hassle returns it would have cost a lot to send back to Ubiquiti as they wanted me to pay for shipping back and forth from them...Which would have made this review a lot different tone.

[370 W] If you are in the Unifi ecosphere this switch is a no brainer. I previously had several Unifi WAPs and was in need of a managed POE switch. This switch integrates perfectly into the Unifi controller software making management and monitoring a breeze.

[104 Gb/s ] Have used the APs for a long time, and this is the first switch I've had the need/$ to try. Management is great through the controller. While I like the cloud keys... I still tend to think a PC installed controller is a tiny bit more stable. Features on the switch are great, SFP+ ports at this price range are also a bonus. Routing is in the layer 2+ range: not truly layer 3, and they don't advertise it that way anyway. Works great with VOIP phones. For the price, you won't get the same features in major name brands. Don't hesitate if you are unfamiliar with the company.
