In a lightweight design, the ALZO DSLR Rig Full Gear Kit Transformerfrom ALZO DSLR Rig Full Gear Kit Transformerprovides dual-hand stabilization, low-angle shooting ability, and the mounting points to attach a variety of accessories.

The kit features three shoe mounts, rubber handgrips, a top handle, mini ball mount, camera quick release accessory, shoe mount to 1/4"-20 screw adapter, height extenders, and a tripod mount thread that lets you attach the entire rig on a tripod. Although called a DSLR rig, the Transformer supports any camera that fits into its 7.5" camera clearance height (6" + 1.5" added by the height extenders, which attach to the top of the handgrips).

The top handle allows for low-angle shooting and offers a 1/4"-20 threaded hole on the front. The mini ball mount can be secured into this thread to provide swiveling support for a monitor, or it can be attached in place of one of the shoe mounts on the ends of the rig.

The quick release accessory includes a camera plate that attaches to the bottom of your camera and allows you to mount/remove the camera via a flip-lock mechanism. A: It will indeed work with the Canon. Remove the off-set that is needed for the DSLR to set up for the XA35. (With the XA35's LCD open, you do not need the rigs off-set.) I am not seeing how the follow focus would work. I also do not think you need that.

Q: 3. What is the diameter of the circular stage?

A: The diameter of the circular stage (footstool) is 18 inches on the Glide Gear Full Body Studio 360 Rig.

Q: 4. Is this rig suitable for a Sony A7II?

A: You won't have any problems using this rig. The follow focus as well as the bridge plate are adjustable. A: This is a generic design kit and is compatible with the C100 Mark I. However, some cinematographers find mounting the camera directly on top of the shoulder support is a better configuration for cinema cameras like C100, you can search VMS-01 which is our shoulder support specifically designed for cinema cameras and build up the rest of the kit piece by piece!

A: This can be used by any camera. I adapted mine by placing a quick release plate on the rig and a quick release plate on the bottom of the rig which mounts to my tripod. Makes connections much easier. Rig is very customizable to your needs.
