This set of two ALZO Transformer Rig Height Extender Set of 2allows you to raise the top bar of the various ALZO Transformer Rigs by 1.5". With a 1/4"-20 threaded hole on top and 1/4"-20 screw on the bottom, the extenders easily secure to the two sides of the rig and create extra space for mounting battery packs, transmitters, and various other devices and accessories.

Q: 1. Does the bottom of the rig have a thread to allow it to be mounted to a tripod? Or do you have to remove the camera and mount the camera to the tripod?

A: Yes it does, there is a 1/4 -20 tripod mount in base. You will be able to mount this to a tripod.

Q: 2. there are different models for tascam vs zoom. why? and are either suitable for zoom h1n, which is not mentioned? thanks.

Q: 3. would this work with the Fuji xt3?

A: Yes this will fit the PC socket of the camera

Q: 4. Would this work with a vixia g20? If not, what would.

A: Yes it will. This system has clearance for up to 7.5 tall and 8.5 wide. It will have no issues handling the Vixia G20.

A: Included in the box is: Cinema Camera Transformer Rig, 3 x Shoe Mount, Transformer Rig Height Extender (Set of 2), Ball Mount, Transformer Bracket Handle and Limited 5-Year Warranty. The 15mm LWS, follow focus and matte box shown in two of the pictures are not included.

A: No

A: Yes, this will work with the DR-07X.

Q: 8. Buyer Beware - NOT for H6?

A: Alzo lists the Zoom H6 recorder as a compatible device with this mount.

A: yes, no problem

Q: 10. Can this be used with dslr such as a 7D?

A: This can be used by any camera. I adapted mine by placing a quick release plate on the rig and a quick release plate on the bottom of the rig which mounts to my tripod. Makes connections much easier. Rig is very customizable to your needs.

[0.235 lb] These Weaver picatinny rails raised the optic perfectly . They're well made with a good fit and finish . Being made in the USA is a big plus to me too . Reasonably priced to boot ! Win/Win . 5

[0.235 lb] I did a lot of comparison shopping for a decent DSLR rig, that wouldn't break the bank. After much research, I landed on the ALZO Transformer, and I couldn't be happier. Easy assembly, solid construction, well balanced and comfortable grips. Definitely a great investment for the starving artist on a limited budget. Highly recommended. 5

[1.5" / 3.8 cm] I play keyboards in two bands, and I bought one of these because its height could be adjusted higher than the drum thrones that I've been using as my keyboard seat. I liked it so much that I bought two more. The range of height adjustability is excellent, the seat cushion is firm (but comfortable for me over a 3 1/2 hour gig), so will hopefully not deteriorate too quickly, and the cushion is shaped in a useful way (at least for me). I have found them useful around the house as well; again, the height works much better in my ammo hand-loading room than the office chair I was using previously. It seems very sturdy and well-built as well (I can't use normal keyboard benches, as I'm too active on stage and break them). It folds up very quickly and compactly. The only downside, IMO, is their weight compared to a normal keyboard bench, but it's not any heavier than the drum throne it replaced. 5

[1.5" / 3.8 cm] This was just what I was looking for ... A basic grip for my Canon 80D. The three hot shoe attachments was exactly what I wanted for external microphone, light, and external viewing monitor. The rig is well made and has a good feels 5

[1.5" / 3.8 cm] this is an awesome little rig - it feels very well balanced. Only this is one of the shoes screws in so that when its tight, it doesn't face as shown in the picture - it's off at an angle so that depending on what you have attached to it, it may get in the way of the other thing in the other shoe... This is more of a screw machining problem than anything, but still it CAN make a difference and make you have to work around it 5
