Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. work for nikon d50?

A: Yes this works with the Nikon D50 and its EN-EL3 series battery.

Q: 2. will this work with the new NP-W126S batteries with the Fuji XT2?

A: Based on the battery description for the XT2 battery which indicates that the XT2 battery can be used in an XT1, I would say the charger will work with both batteries.

Q: 3. Is this compatible with a Nikon COOL PIX s3700 camera (EN-EL19 3.7V 700m Ah 2.6Wh?

A: Yes, this charger will be compatible with the EN-EL19 battery used in the Nikon Coolpix S3700.

Q: 4. Hi, What's shown on the LCD panel please, some show battery health? Thanks in advance Desmond y

A: This is the Watson Compact AC/DC Charger for NP-BG1 or NP-FG1 Battery. As such, there is no LD panel. Perhaps you are thinking of this? Watson Duo LCD Charger with Two LP-E6 / LP-E6N Battery Plates B&H # WADCNLPE6 This indeed has an LCD that displays important battery information.

Q: 5. What is the use of USB port on the side?

A: The USB port on the side can be used to charge items that use a USB port, such as an on-camera LED light.

Q: 6. I bought this charger for the NP-W126 batteries for my Fuji X-E2 and enjoyed the small size and versatility on a recent extended vacation. I just bought a Fuji X100T and was ready to buy the Watson NP-95 charge plate for its batteries but when I tried to see how easy it is to change plates, it was not. After trying to slide the charge plate off, I finally had to use a flat blade jeweler's screwdriver to pry the plate up and release the latch. Tried it several times and had to pry the plate off? Is there something I'm missing here, a simple procedure to release the plate?

A: I checked my Watson Chargers; I have one each for the NP-W126 battery and the NP-95 battery. I my case, the plate for the 126 easily slides off pushing upwards away from the charging contacts. The plate for the 95 battery appears as if it would be removable using the same sliding motion, however, try as I might I cannot get it to budge and come free. As you might conclude from my first sentence to this reply, I find it just as easy and more convenient to just have two separate chargers (than to bother with changing plates). Hopes this helps.

Q: 7. Can I charge this using powerbank?

A: This IS a battery charger. It is not a battery.

Q: 8. This is SO MUCH cheaper than buying the Nikon brand changer for the EN-EL23. Is there a reason for that? Is there some risk to using a non-Nikon EN-EL23 battery and charger?

A: I purchased this charger because of the price differential and used it daily on a month-long trip to southern Asia. . .it worked perfectly.

Q: 9. Does this charger work for EN-EL15c battery?

A: Yes, the Watson EN-EL15 charger works with all variations of the EN-EL15, including but not limited to the EN-EL15, 15b, 15c, and likely any future iterations/updates to the EN-EL15 (d, e, f, etc.) that might be created. In the off-chance such newer versions are not natively supported, Watson will likely update their product to also be compatible with such batteries.

Q: 10. Can this unit use the charger adapter plates for Nikon EN-EL3E and EN-EL14 batteries also?

A: Check manufacturers specs. I am guessing, yes, because it would be logical. Nice thing about charger is that it takes 3 sources of power input: 110 VAC, 12 VDC (Vehicle), and 5 V (USB). NOTE: Depending on source of power and, therefore, input jack used on charger, you would be well-advised to also purchase from B and H, a Male-to-Male, USB 3.0 cable. Also know that while the device is handy, versatile and great for travel, charging is slower than with original equipment. For this reason. Your best bet is to also invest in a second battery and to alternate while depleted battery is charging. With two batteries and the referenced special USB cable, you will be prepared wherever and whenever.Hope this helps. And again, Check with Watson and/or Nikon to reconfirmed my reply.

[1 to 3 Hours] I lost my camera charger cord during my trip to Israel and Jordan back in April, so I needed a way to recharge my battery. Once I got this unit, I was able to effectively recharge my camera battery. Now that the US and Israel have dropped the vaccination and covid testing requirements as of August 1st, I am going back to Israel and Egypt in October with my wife and another couple.

[1 to 3 Hours] I bought this for use with my Sony A7 II, which otherwise charges its batteries in the camera. Having the accessory charger is much more convenient, and allows for a spare battery to be charged while the camera is still in use. I'm glad the B&H salesman recommended it to me.
