[0.25 lb] This works great with our Clear Touch RL500 PTZ Camera that was recently installed in our church. I am able to adjust the zoom and side to side settings easily. The range isn’t the greatest, but I think it has more to do with the receiver than this controller. The installer put a piece of electrical tape right over the top of the sensor to attach it to the camera. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a lot of information as to how to use the control, so trial and error was used.

[11 x 9 x 0.6"] As an alternative to the much larger Sony Remote Commander (which I also have for playback on a home monitor), the Vello Remote works very well and is much less expensive. A lot smaller and the included carabiner ring makes it handy and readily accessible for use. There was only one minor problem...the included battery was almost dead on arrival and had me initially wondering why the remote was working erratically. A check with my ZTS Battery Checker indicated a new battery was needed. Also note that, for the NEX 6, the remote control selection (required to use it in remote mode) in the drive options can remain set and single shots can still be made with the shutter release button.

[0.25 lb] I bought this remote for my Avaya Huddle Camera HC020 as a replacement because it did not come with one when I ordered the Avaya Huddle Camera originally. The remote works great and allows me to take full advantage of the 4k UHD features and the PTZ features. Overall, a great buy for a replacement !

[0.25 lb] I wanted an IR remote for my Sony A7r3.� I have had unpleasant experiences using the wired remote... the connection to the camera is too fragile and if I am in a creek bed it is always a challenge to keep the remote out of the water.� The Vello is easily clipped to a neck lanyard and also comes with a miniature carabiner. Perfect for my needs and very inexpensive.� (Note, you have to get into the Sony menus to turn on the option for using the IR remote).

[0.25 lb] I used it with my Sony Nex 7. It does work as a trigger release but a little sad that is it's only use (and record button on video), as described.

[0.25 lb] As far as I can tell, if you lose or break your remote from your Avaya Huddle camera you're up the creek without a paddle. I know of no other ways of activating the very important zoom and pan functions, and considering the cost of the camera, you don't want to lose these. The remote seems to be an identical replacement, except that it isn't labeled Avaya.

[IR] I am using the remote for my NEX 7. I am very pleased with the response time from pressing the remote button to the camera firing the shot. Fantastic addition to my gear.
