A: There is no official recommended distance, but do not allow the tracks to bow at all. Depending on the length of the run, having a stand on each of the track is fine. Matthews products are very strong.

Q: 3. Will this controller still work with Sony EVI-HD1? The control interface is RC-232C over Visca protocol.

A: The HuddleCamHD HC-JOY-G4 Serial PTZ Joystick Controller (4th Generation) will be able to maintain control of the Sony EVI-HD1 HD Color PTZ Camera with the VISCA protocol.

A: You can select any angle you choose. You would not be restricted to 180 and 90 degrees.

Q: 8. How much sag do the crossbars end up having? Want to hang a 20' long muslin on it straight, no corner adapter.

A: The center stand and bracket of the Savage Universal Background Stand BH #SAUBGS is required.

Q: 9. What is the maximum height that these stands extend to? Also...the maximum width? I am looking to use for my dance studio shots and wanted to be sure I could accommodate large groups.

A: Definitely cannot accommodate large group shots. I use mine for a dance studio as well. It's not really able to be used in the way in which Savage advertises it. I was hoping to use it as a corner backdrop, to gain width. Unfortunately, one is used to shoot on and the other reflects light using white paper. I wouldn't purchase it again.

Q: 10. would this control systems like Panasonic via serial?

A: Yes, the HuddleCamHD HC-JOY-G4 Serial PTZ Joystick Controller (4th Generation) can control Panasonic PTZ cameras over serial.

[10.2 x 6 x 2.1"] I bought this stand because I liked the look of it - the simplicity of the stand and how much I could adjust the height as well - it doesn't take up much desk space like a small tripod would. Very solid and heavy - I was able to attach an unused tripod ball head - with the help of a 3/8 to 1/2 reducer bushing from BH to give it a little more flexibility with movement if needed. 5

[10.2 x 6 x 2.1"] We love the flexibility that Joy Factory mounts have provided for our iPad Pro's. The mounts are great for music production and video creation. We use them everywhere from home to Zoom broadcasts to church video capture. Their smartphone adapter for their mounting arms still needs work, and we are still looking forward to the iPad Pro 4th Gen mount case. 5
