The MP-284C 4-Section Tubular Monopod from Tiltall Tripod is constructed from 8-layer carbon fiber material and features a fast twist lock. The monopod comes with reversible 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads on one screw. In addition, it also comes with a hand strap and a stainless steel leg spike.

A: The spike appears to be mon removable on this monopod. Unless used for a walking stick it should never have to be replaced.

A: The base mount on the Sirui P-424FL 4-Section Carbon Fiber Monopod is 60mm. Please be aware that this does not affect the stability of the head, if the head has a smaller or larger diameter.

Q: 3. Is Oben's QRA-R2 Quick Release Assembly compatible with The Manfrotto 200PL Quick Release Plate with 1/4 -20 Screw and 3/8 Bushing Adapter is the replacement quick release plate for all heads that use the RC2 (3157N)

A: Unfortunately no, they are not compatible. They appear similar but are of different designs and dimensions.

Q: 4. Is it possible to just buy the legs?

A: Unfortunately, the legs included with the Tiltall Tripod BM-868 4-Section Carbon Fiber Monopod are not available on their own.

Q: 5. Can I attach a fluids base?

A: If you have a tripod fluid head that has a flat base with either 1/4-20 or 3/8″-16 female threads on bottom the base, then yes, the fluid head may be used with the Tiltall Tripod BM-868 4-Section Carbon Fiber Monopod.

Q: 6. When walking with the feet attached, do they flop around or are they secured against the body of the monopod?

A: The tripod foot base that comes with the Sirui P-325FL 5-Section Carbon Fiber Monopod can be folded against the monopod during transport and storage. They do not flop around.

Q: 7. can this also be used, successfully, as a walking stick?

A: The has a maximum load capacity of Oben CTM-2500 5-Section Carbon Fiber Monopod. This monopod is not designed with usage as a walking stick in mind. That being said, if you are only using the monopod to assist with slight stability needs and you are not placing full weight on the monopod, it may work for your usage needs. That being said, you may wish to purchase the Magnus MHA-01 Monopod Handle Adapter, B&H # MAMHA01, for better grip for your usage needs.

A: Sirui P-325FS 5-Section Carbon Fiber Monopod maximun height from the rubber foot to the base mount is 55 inches. If you prefer to use the tripod foot base then the monopod will raise by 3 addittional inches.

Q: 10. will this monopod support a 600mm lens ?

A: The Oben CTM-2500 5-Section Carbon Fiber Monopod has a load capacity of 26 lb / 11.8 kg. This will support a 600mm lens.

[Twist Lock] Im 63 and wanted a monopod that could shoot upward. this is long and folds small enough to fit in/on my camera bags. I would definitely recommend to others. 5

[Carbon Fiber] .I use this monopod with a FLM CB-32 F Ball Head and RRS B2-LR II Q-R Clamp to provide support for my heaviest telephoto when I am on the move and don't need full tripod support. It doubles as a sturdy walking stick when the camera is not attached, I have only used it without the short tripod legs to keep weight to a minimum while hiking. The twist lock legs provide a secure lock which have never collapsed and operate smooth and precise. I highly recommend this monopod if you need a working height up to 63.8 5

[Carbon Fiber] Excellent construction. I like that it is rated to hold 35 pounds of weight. Unlike the Amazon Basics monopod the foam grip on the Leofoto is adhered to the mast. 5

[Carbon Fiber] Relatively cheap, can collapse to be quite short, can extend to be taller than me. It's also easily sturdy enough to hold my nikon 500mm F4 P all while being quite light. 5

[Carbon Fiber] Twist off cap that acts as a wrench for the mount bolt. Well engineered. The wrist strap is a great feature for stability and firm hold. I am very impressed with Leofoto. Light but strong carbon fiber. Came with a nice carrying case. 5

[Twist Lock] I purchased this to support a 5 pound/2.25 KG video camera. Does not flex under normal use. Twist locks work great. 5

[Carbon Fiber] This monopod is fantastic. When I ordered was a bit concerned about the twist lock. They are great with a minimal twist they are tight and secure with no slippage. My lens is a Sigma 150 x 600, the pod handles the weight without any issues. Highly recommend. Great value for the dollar. 5

[Twist Lock] Two years ago, I had to sell my previous monopod, of the Gitzo brand, due to my financial problems, so I recently sought to purchase this less-costly alternative as a replacement. If the Gitzo products are truly of the high quality they seem to be, then this Tiltall monopod is certainly a match! The materials are all well formed and finished. The monopod arrived inside a thick plastic bag, with that inside the carrying case, and then the outer cardboard box. Included is a very nice instructional booklet (pictures, diagrams, specs, clear text) and a wrench. The foot screws out/in to conceal/reveal the spike. This monopod is attractive and would look good if used at formal occasions. The moving parts all work smoothly and properly. This is tall monopod, and, of course, it is as light as a feather when extended, yet very stiff, just as it should be. All-in-all, I'm pleased to be using it with high confidence, and I wanted to write this review to offer a recommendation. 5
