Related Questions and Answers

Q: 2. I have a Tamron G2 lense-how does monopod attach to it? Do I need to buy anything additional?

A: No, the tripod foot of the lens attaches directly to the monopod.

Q: 3. Will this fit a Canon T-6 with a Tamron 18-400 lens or would it be to heavy for it?

A: The Canon T6 with the Tamron 18-140mm lens would definitely work well with this monopod.

Q: 4. How much is its maximum capacity?

A: Per Tiltall's US representative, 18 pounds

Q: 5. This is pretty inexpensive. Is it sturdy enough to use as a Walking Stick, and can you get replacements for the rubber cap on the bottom?

A: While it would be okay to walk around with with a camera on top, it is not meant to be used as a walking stick. Oben does not sell rubber caps for the bottom.

Q: 6. Is this compatible with the Sony A7s?

A: As the Oben ACM-1400 4-Section Aluminum Monopod has both a 1/4 -20 & 3/8 -16 male tripod screw, and the Sony Alpha A7s Mirrorless Digital Camera uses the standard 1/4 -20 tripod socket. A: It is made in China.

Q: 8. Can I put a base on this monopod?

Q: 10. I neeed to switch the screw size to fit my Nikon D90. I am turning top disk counter clock wise per instructions but things aren't moving. I see on amazon there should be an Allen wrench in box, i didn't get one, is this needed to turn disk and change screw orientation?

A: Yes you need the Allen Wrench to unscrew the screws holding the base to the monopod first. Once you unscrew them turn it over(flip the sides) which has reverse screw size suitable for your camera. Then re-screw the base to the monopod. If the wrench was lost you will have to get one from a hardware store.

[Aluminum] I can mount my Olympus EPL3 to this monopod and carry it just about anywhere and be ready for steady and immediate recording. Great in the woods for nature and great in the middle of hundreds of people.

[Aluminum] Two years ago, I had to sell my previous monopod, of the Gitzo brand, due to my financial problems, so I recently sought to purchase this less-costly alternative as a replacement. If the Gitzo products are truly of the high quality they seem to be, then this Tiltall monopod is certainly a match! The materials are all well formed and finished. The monopod arrived inside a thick plastic bag, with that inside the carrying case, and then the outer cardboard box. Included is a very nice instructional booklet (pictures, diagrams, specs, clear text) and a wrench. The foot screws out/in to conceal/reveal the spike. This monopod is attractive and would look good if used at formal occasions. The moving parts all work smoothly and properly. This is tall monopod, and, of course, it is as light as a feather when extended, yet very stiff, just as it should be. All-in-all, I'm pleased to be using it with high confidence, and I wanted to write this review to offer a recommendation.

[Aluminum] .I use this monopod with a FLM CB-32 F Ball Head and RRS B2-LR II Q-R Clamp to provide support for my heaviest telephoto when I am on the move and don't need full tripod support. It doubles as a sturdy walking stick when the camera is not attached, I have only used it without the short tripod legs to keep weight to a minimum while hiking. The twist lock legs provide a secure lock which have never collapsed and operate smooth and precise. I highly recommend this monopod if you need a working height up to 63.8
