A: No, it will not. Although the SDI inputs/outputs on the card will handle standard definition video, it is not compatible with analog composite video on BNC. SDI is a digital interface only.

A: We are using this card in that exact scenario. The only thing to note is that you will need to purchase the SDI Output module or the Alpha Key module module to be able to interface with this card.

Q: 4. Any idea why this card would d be triggering the vga light on my motherboard? Its in a x16 (x4) slot.

A: That may be an anomaly or cussed by some other factor, or perhaps something was tripped during installation. The Blackmagic Design DeckLink Duo 2 should not be interacting with the VGA signal of your motherboard.

[PCIe 2.0 x4] I purchased this to add 4 SDI inputs to my OBS streaming system. It took a little while to get it to work initially, but I am happy to report that I have 4 independent video inputs to my system that accept 4 different frame rates or resolutions. This isn't possible on a standard ATEM style unit without a ton of expensive adapters. 5

[ 10 W] If you are looking to start live streaming and have the desire to ingest multiple camera feeds at the same time (using a switching program to choose you shots) then this card is a fantastic solution for a great price. I run a twice-a-week live stream for a gaming company and I am running 2 of these capture cards in my live streaming rig. I highly recommend Blackmagic Design equipment! 5

[SDI: 16-Channel] When you consider it simply as several video/display interface outputs, it works great. Yes, you can adjust frame rate and resolution. The key thing to remember, and I wish BMD made this more clear, this card is NOT a GPU and depends on whatever GPU the computer has. We use it with Renewed Vision ProPresenter 7.x on a Dell PC workstation. We apply genlock to the input port of the card and use all four outputs at 1080p59.94 without a hitch. 5

[PCIe 2.0 x4] I purchased this card for my church to use in their computer to live stream with PTZ cameras and OBS. It was extremely easy to install, and once the software was installed it is very easy to use. The Black Magic software includes desktop video setup software that allows you to assign each of the ports individually, and it automatically detects input signals coming in from the cameras. The Black Magic ports also show up automatically in OBS for easy scene assignment. For a somewhat technically advanced amateur, this was a really great piece of hardware to bump our live streams to the next level. 5
