The Blackmagic MultiView 4 | HD Video Monitoring Solutionfeatures four 10-bit 6G-SDI inputs that let you monitor SD, HD, or 4K sources in any combination on Ultra HD monitors or TVs. This lets you take advantage of high resolution displays to view each source with increased clarity. The MultiView 4 allows for 2x2 display with each input fully re-synchronized. One 6G-SDI output and one HDMI multi-view output are provided, as well as a loop output for each 6G-SDI input for passing the signals to additional devices.

Housed in a 1 RU machined aluminum frame, the MultiView 4 is ready for use in the studio, broadcast truck, or even on location. It can be controlled with the included control software via the Ethernet port or by an optional Teranex front panel (not included). For easy integration into any facility, a built-in multi-voltage power supply supports 90 to 240 VAC, or you can power the unit by 48 VDC PoE+.

A: No. There is only 4x4 output.

Q: 5. can the sdi/hdmi multiview outputs display progressive frames in 1920x1080 or only interlaced? it looks like it can do progressive in 4k but not in 1080 based on the dip switches unless im misinterpreting them.

I'd assume that, with the multi viewer and switcher on the same network, you'd use the BMD software to configure tally, yes?

A: You can configure the tally setting using the optional Teranex Mini Smart Panel or when connecting the Multiview 4 over USB to a computer running the Multiview Setup software.

Q: 9. Does the USB C port of this output to computer like the studio mini recorder does? I want to use this for Zoom

A: The USB port on the Blackmagic Design MultiView 4 HD is only used to connect to the computer for firmware updates.

[Yes] I tried all monitor headphones at the store. This is the one I can wear and listen for a long time, and has the sound that motivates me to work on my project! I I really love it. But it's a little odd-looking when you wear it. 5

[Yes] In searching for a new pair of headphones that would have better sound isolation than my usual pair, I tried on the Sennheiser HD 300 Pro headphones at a local gear shop and knew they were the ones. I work from home and share an office space with my housemate who frequently takes work calls and meetings; these headphones mean that I can put on music, a show, or a movie and not be distracted by the calls while I work. They're also useful for recording, since the design of the headphone results in very little - if any - audio leak from the cups. I also haven't noticed any pressure issues from long wear sessions, and can wear them with my glasses without feeling compressed. The audio quality is clear and while I ended up downloading an EQ add-on for my PC, I would also be happy to use them as-is. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase. I will be curious to see how these headphones hold up over time and how soon the ear pads will need to be replaced. My wallet wishes that these were sub-$150 rather than $200, but compared to everything else I've tried at this price point and above, they have been well worth the purchase and suit my needs. 5

[6 Gb/s] The Sennheiser HD300 Pro headphones have the clarity and accuracy that any audiophile would opt for. In addition, the closed back design is perfect for noisy environments. They fit snugly without unnecessary compression. Dollar for dollar, they are a great value. 5

[Yes] It does everything it has advertised to do. Picture is sharp, and setup couldn't be easier. I will say that when I hooked it up to my TV, the unit was sending a distorted signal. After a brief conversation with tech support, they noted it was a known issue, and a simple firmware update fixed the problem. I was skeptical, but it did the trick! Only thing I wish is that it had some alternate layout options (some screens smaller or larger than others, etc.), but what it does do does the trick for us. 5

[48 kHz / 24-Bit] This Blackmagic Design Multiview 4 HD was the perfect addition to our multi-camera shoot. Though we were not switching in the field, it allowed our director to direct the iso record cameras during a live concert performance, making post production easier. 5

[1 RU] During one of our multi-camera live switches a request was made to give the stage manager a Multiview of our program out, Multiview out, stage display (from propresenter) and their stage clock. The Multiview 4 HD was the perfect device to make this happen and send out a quad split to a 48 TV. We ran this device non stop for 12 hours a day 3 days in a row. 5
