[1920 x 1200] This daylight field monitor is clear, bright, sharp and built well.

[18 W] This thing is stunning to use. I cant believe how sharp it is.
Although it not the brightest, I purchased it for accurate focus concerns, and boy does it deliver in that area. Yes, it cost a little more, but it's so worth it to me!

[18 W] I purchased this monitor after reviewing many others. I wanted something with a great picture but at a reasonable price for personal gear. I am not sure about the ghosting problems mentioned, this might be an issue with HDMI. I can speak to using with SDI. It has a clean 1080P image with great color. I shoot Red and Arri often for work and I have used many professional monitors. This monitor when using SDI has put out a great image thus far. You can also purchase a DTap to DC plug for powering the unit. It seems brighter and easier to view then some on board monitors I have used. Overall for the price I would say it is a good value monitor.

[18 W] Bought the 7 for me and the 5 for a friend. I prefer this 5 model for the A7II I use.

Its bright, comes with a hood, and a single battery plate that takes NP and LP06 batteries. I liked that very much.

[1920 x 1200] I do strictly amateur stuff, often bad, and just for fun.  I did not need this monitor but I thought it would add to the enjoyment of shooting video.   I have only used it a few times and It is easy to use.  It seems to be rugged and should hold up under my type of use.  The on screen menus take a bit of getting used to but work simply and well.

The image is quite good and reflects accurately what I see in the cameras viewfinder, the small built in monitor and what is seen on our tv screen.  

I have not used any other monitors of this type so I cannot compare but I am very pleased with this monitor and with B&Hs advising me that this was a better choice for my use and budget.

[Mono] The Elvid StudioVision Triple 5 Full HD Rackmount Monitor is an amazing addition to our gear that we take to conferences.


We needed something with a low profile and this works perfectly to put on a table or stand so we can see all cameras at once.


If you've ever used an Elvid Monitor before the menu system should feel familiar and if you haven't, the menus are laid out well and easy to navigate. You have all the tools like peaking, false color, waveform, LUTS, etc to get the image looking exactly the way you want it to.


LAN control is a great option to have but for our purposes, we don't have a use for it yet.


I love having the ability to use either HDMI or SDI and it has an in and out which makes this unit very flexible.


Viewing angles are good and the monitors are pretty bright.


Another option I like is that you can add screen markers and change the ratio. It has pretty much all the options their monitors have which is great.


There is also an assignable button on each monitor which is a nice touch.


I'm really excited to use this more in the field.

[Mono] I've only taken this out of the box and tested for a few minutes, but it is great so far. It gives a bright image in a low light space. The 65 FOV is a great angle when it is perched on top of my monitor. Something wider would show the junk and clutter to either side of my desk. It replaces an older 60 FOV camera that was zoomed in a bit too close.

[1920 x 1200] Great display. The 43 was a perfect size for what I required. The video quality is fantastic. Having purchased a commercial display provides the assurance it was built for duty. Samsung name helps too.

[1920 x 1200] So much better than having a keyboard and mouse for a timeclock kiosk!

[18 W] Very sharp image, excellent customisable tools for exposure, easy to use and you can load your own luts. It also has the ability to select Input Levels between Full and Video. Full is essential when monitoring a log profile from the camera. When in Full mode, the waveform and histogram display the correct luma level pre-lut which is important for estimating correct exposure. This feature is missing in some more expensive monitor brands.
