A: The 5001B stand is way too small to securely support a boom arm, pivot clamp, and whatever you are going to put on the end of the arm. And the top section of tubing is too thin to accept the 124 pivot clamp.I would suggest you go with a stand like the 1052BAC or similar.

Q: 5. Can this be mounted 90 deg vertically to extend the height of a C-stand etc? If so, will it be stable at full extension?

A: It will be slightly off axis, but it can be used vertically. The stability will depend on the stand it is used on.

Q: 6. Can this be attached to a "K&M 260 Straight Microphone Stand (Black)"?

A: On the K&M 260 straight stand, removing the pole extension fromn the base would allow the boom to be inserted into the 260.

Q: 7. Is it possible to remove the rotating stand mount from the boom arm?

A: The impact base boom does allow a end-user to remove the mount to be fine tune but we do not suggest doing so.

Q: 8. Does this boom come with counter weight ? If so, what type ?

A: The LATCH LAKE RB2200 micKing RetroBoom Telescoping Boom Arm features a 7 LBS counterweight.

Q: 9. Will this be able to support the weight of a "Shure SM7B" (1.69 lb / 766.57 g)?

A: Yes; this boom arm, placed on a stand includes a counter weitht, which will balane an SM7B, no problem.

Q: 10. How is this arm compared to the GVM360 boom arm?

A: The GVM360 offers a better locking system. The the impact unit and includes stand with purchase.

[25 x 3.8 x 3.4"] Latch Lake is simply the best. You should be aware however that if you order this arm to be mounted on a non-Latch Lake stand, you will need to also purchase the "thread extender." It will be useless without it. 5

[25 x 3.8 x 3.4"] This stand is just at a completely different level of polish than any other I've used. The clamping mechanisms are intense and solid - and highly adjustable - and the base ensures that it feels really secure. My only issue so far is getting a feel for how tight to adjust the various clamps, since I don't want to overtighten anything. But having used this stand, I don't know how I would go back to anything else... 5

[25 x 3.8 x 3.4"] As a guitarist I had bought several pieces to hold my iPhones and iPads satisfy my needs, but none worked as best as this one. Now I switch between my iPhone and iPad pro without any issues and become more productive. Thanks 5
