A: This is an NP-1 style battery. So you would connect it to a recorder that has this kind of battery port for that compatibility.

Q: 3. What are the main differences between this and Ricoh WG-8?

A: The WG-8 and the G900 II are very similar as they share many of the same specs. The G900 II is a tougher built camera for harsh environments and professional use. The entire camera can be locked by a password, it is chemical resistant and it has other functions ideal for industrial and business standards. If you're looking for a tough point and shoot camera, I would suggest the Ricoh WG-8 instead.

Q: 4. What battery charger can be used to charge this - only the one made by remote audio

A: Yes this is the B&H part number for charger. B&H# REHIQ1CH1.

Q: 5. how do you connect this to a field recorder like the Zoom F8n?

A: You can use the Hi-Q battery with the Remote Audio HIQHIRV2 DC Power Cable with Hi-Q Battery Cup to Hirose for Hi-Q Batteries (B&H # REHIQHIRV2) to supply power for the Zoom F8n (updated version of the F8 mentioned in the product description -- same powering options) and similar field recorders.

Q: 6. Will the Ricoh G900 charge when connected to USb-C ? Or does it only transfer files through that port?

A: The GPS on the Ricoh WG-6 Digital Camera (Orange) can be turned off. There is a GPS button on the back of the camera.

Q: 9. Can I capture RAW images vs JPEG? I can't find that in the manual.

A: The Ricoh G900 Digital Camera does not support RAW files. The image file format for the Ricoh G900 Digital Camera is JPEG.

Q: 10. Will this fit on the 50mm F1.4 FA lens as a hood?

A: Unfortunately, this lens hood would not work with a Pentax 50mm f/1.4 FA. The Vello PS-49 Dedicated Lens Hood B&H # VELHPS49 has a better fit.

[Fujitsu fi-7460] This document scanner, out of the box, is ready for individual owners/users and centrally managed corporate workgroups with many users (frequent and occasional) and many scanners. It has built-in ethernet as well as USB. The included software is well thought out; the many details are organized nicely, and done so that it's straightforward for all the different target users can effectively organize their scanning activity - by type, by destination, etc. It's business-oriented, assumes you know how to use your computer, as opposed to consumer-oriented (spoon-feeding you social media and assuming it knows how you use your computer). The scans are fine and it works fast; the multi-page feeder will easily do a multi-page two-sided (duplex) document, and the software helps keep it all together etc. All in all, complete, comprehensive, quite good. If there's a downside, it's that there's a lot of different software modules it installs, and I found the updates a bit confusing - didn't find them automatically, and after I went and found & downloaded the update files, when I ran them it said they were already installed, so it's not immediately clear whether what came on the DVD is in fact the most current or whether what's installed was or even needed to be updated. It's OK in the sense that the software is complete and not buggy, so I can just get on with scanning. 5

[1 year] I purchased this backdrop pole to use for location portrait sessions. It's sturdy when used with a 10x20' muslin backdrop, and extends to 12' if needed. 5

[Fujitsu fi-7460] I bought the Ricoh fi-8170 to replace an 18 year old Fujitsu fi-5750C. The fi-7700 was $6700, this is a definite alternative if a flatbed isn't needed. Scans really fast, the only downside is you need to constantly pull the sheets off as they've been scanned or they start bunching up and scatter. 5

[Parts and labor] I was worried about how difficult it would be to install and set-up, but it was incredibly simple and worked right away, as expected.
