The entire camera can be locked by a password, it is chemical resistant and it has other functions ideal for industrial and business standards. If you're looking for a tough point and shoot camera, I would suggest the Ricoh WG-8 instead.

A: Sorry, but I purchased as a gift.

A: This is not a terrible photo scanner, but it's not ideal. The max DPI for a colored scan is 600dpi which again is not terrible, but not archival quality for photos. If photos are your primary interest, there are scanners out there specializing in photos. This one is really primarily for text, with photos incidentally.
