Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What firmware version is this based on?

A: Photobert does not state a firmware version for the cheat sheets however based on the age of the sheet it would probably be version 1.03 at the latest. The cheat sheet is for more of the basic controls so even the latest firmware for the Z7 might not be that different than what the sheet actually covers.

Q: 2. Would this one work for the D5100 model? I did not see one available for this model.

A: The PhotoBert Cheat Sheet for Nikon D5100 Digital SLR Camera, B&H # PHCSND5100, would be the correct item for use with the Nikon D5100 DSLR camera.

Q: 3. Is the battery grip Nikon or generic?

A: it's a Vello - it's nice and works as expected. Definitely adds weight and bulk to the camera. I'm happy with it -

Q: 4. Is this waterproof?

A: No, this camera is not waterproof. It means that you can not dive with it. But it is weathersealed, meaning that you it will be protected from dust and moisture, and it is quite safe to use it in the rain or snow.

Q: 5. Are the NEF files from this camera recognized by Lightroom ?

A: Yes if you have current version. Lightroom CC reads and converts the RAW files(NEF) to DNG.

Q: 6. Does it come with built-in GPS Receiver and Digital Compass?

A: The camera does not have a built-in GPS or Digital compass. Nikon does offer a GPS accessory for the camera called the Nikon GP-1a unit. See the following link for details: http://bhpho.to/1dfrvdy

Q: 7. Does this come with a USA warranty?

A: The Nikon D750 B&H carries is distributed through Nikon USA and does come with the Nikon 1-year USA warranty.

Q: 8. Is the lens that comes with this camera refurbished?

A: No, it and the microphone are both brand new.

Q: 9. If I have a D70 with lenses will those lenses fut a D750?

A: All Nikon lens work with all Nikon cameras but where the difference is that there are full frame (FX) and crop frame (DX). The D750 will use an dx lens but you are better served buying FX lens as they will work as designed. You might want to go to NIKONUSA site for a better explanation and you can see the lens that will work.

Q: 10. Will this work for the D5600?

A: Unfortunately this one is just designed for the D5500.

[PhotoBert] This helps fine tuning your gear the fast easy way. It is a cheat sheet for sure! This is a must have for anyone wanting the fastest way to get the right settings on your camera. B&H is the best place to buy, I messed up my order and they corrected is with just a note from me of what I needed. Thank you B&H for a great product, ease of ordering, and fast shipping!

[Bert Sirkin] The writing is very small, if you can't read VERY small print, I recommend having an inexpensive magnifying glass with you in order to read it, maybe one that lights up if you are going to be out at night. I know my camera well enough that I didn't really think that I needed this, but it has come in handy! I highly recommend it!

[0.035 lb] I never purchase a new camera without ordering a PhotoBert CheatSheet as well. It gets me familiar with the new camera operation and features quickly and easily. There is a treasure chest of information packed into that one sheet sized pocketable map. I never travel without it. Information can be looked up very quickly while out and about with camera in hand. It is definitely worth the 5
star rating it has been given.

[2] Just got a D750, and with all the features and configurable so available I needed a simple go to cheat sheet. Really don't want to drag out a thick manual and hunt for the feature change or select information. I'm here to capture images! This is a great quick reference guide for all the variations and features available, all on a simple fold out, easy to locate feature map/table. This will save lots of time and minimize frustration. Buy one, for whatever camera your using, even if you think you know all the options and features.
