A: The SanDisk Professional PRO-BLADE STATION is a multi-bay desktop array and it really does not matter what type of files you load onto it. Note it comes in a few configurations, Just the enclosure, 4 1tb drives, 4 2tb drives or 4 4tb drives.

Q: 2. How loud is the fan noise in dBA? Will this unit work in a quiet studio, fully loaded 16TB?

A: SanDisk has not provided a spec for the operational noise level of the PRO-BLADE STATION's internal fan, but as this is a solid state storage device the noise level will be much lower than that of a traditional hard drive enclosure.

Q: 3. I watched J. Cristina's two YouTube videos (the short one and the vlog one) about this product and understand the advantages of using it -- but I don't understand how to use it with a single click . What are the instructions for using it? And I can't find any info on this in a Google search. I have the X-rite ColorChecker Passport and know how to use it. I realize I may be missing something obvious. I asked this question on J. Cristina's website several days ago, but there was no answer.

A: The SanDisk Professional PRO-BLADE STATION is only listed as officially compatible with Windows 10+ and Mac 10.13+.

A: This would just be a single piece.

A: The SanDisk Professional PRO-BLADE STATION (Enclosure Only) model does not come with SSD Mag, they must be purchased separately. The blades use a proprietary interface.

Q: 7. Will SSD blade volumes safely unmount when I power down Mac Studio, or must I remember to manually unmount all volumes first?

A: It would always be recommended to unmount any external storage volumes before powering down your computer. This prevents any cached files from being corrupted.

[0.45 lb] I carry this in my camera bag just in case I need to tighten an L Bracket or lens foot. It is a good quality tool and works great. I would recommend you get one for your kit also. 5

[0.45 lb] For the money, you get a tool that was made to true industrial standards and which works right out of the box. Well, not a box, actually; it's that heavy plastic see-through packaging, but it is NOT the kind which you need to hack and chop at to open. All in all, this one is easy to recommend. 5
