This Bolt Beauty Dish Kit for VB-Series Flashesis designed for use with the VB-series bare-bulb flash units. It features a 12" diameter beauty dish that will create a soft, yet crisp light source as well as a 40° snap-in grid for increasing contrast and limiting light spill. The dish easily slips onto the flash's accessory mount and comes with a diffuser sock that uses an elastic rim to remain in place on the dish. The sock can be used with or without the grid in place.

A: Due to power and connection differences, The Bolt Flashtube for VB-22 Bare-Bulb Flash is not compatible with the Sunpak 120J II Flash.

Q: 5. Will this flashtube cover fit quantum qflash?

A: This Flashtube Cover is dedicated specifically to Bolt VB series Bare Bulb flashes and will not fit a Quantum Qflash.

Q: 6. Will this fit the Brilia BB-110N?

A: No, it is exculsivly used on the Bolt VB-Series Bare-Bulb Flashes and will not fit the Brilia BB-110N Bare-Bulb TTL Flash .

Q: 7. Will it fit a hasselblad d-flash 40?

A: Being that the Hasselblad D-40 Flash head has a bare tube design, it could work with this kit. However, it has not been tested to our knowledge. Your results may vary.

Q: 8. What other attachment is need to use this with Godox V850III?

A: Bolt Beauty Dish and Grid Kit is only design for bare bulb flash units. For square head flash units you will need a standar beauty dish with an adapter for speedlights.

Q: 9. Will this work with AD200pro?

A: If you are using the Godox Bare Bulb Flash Head and the Godox 4.7" Standard Reflector for AD360 and AD200 Bare-Bulb Heads, B&H # GOSTDREFL, both attached to the Godox AD200Pro TTL Pocket Flash, then yes, the Bolt Grid and Filter Kit for VB-Series Bare-Bulb Flashes, B&H # BOVBGFK, would be compatible for your usage needs.

Q: 10. I own a Quantum trio flash, very similar to the Bolt flash, will this reflector fit the Quantum?

A: I have a quantum 5dr. The above reflector works very well with my unit. I love it.

[1.505 lb] I just leave the little umbrella bracket on the flash unit all the time, and it is just a simple action to replace the reflector. 5

[Clip-On] This is designed for Bolt 180 and 360 strobes but really it's the godox, flashpoint, quantum multi brand setup. I found this beauty dish to be the most complete for the price. The grid is a bonus too. It takes the from wide to narrow. 5

[1.505 lb] With my Nikon D810 and the 17 - 35 mm 2.8 zoom I needed a wider flash covering so far I’ve used it as a soft box with out the light grid and it is like having a portable studio light with you with the power of the Godox 360ii 5

[Clip-On] I had never used a beauty dish before. I was playing around a bit with it and was very surprised at how soft the light was with the grid on it. I thought it would be more contrasty but it was not. I was able to take a few shots of a young lady with surprising results. She and her mom were just as amazed as I was. Sometimes you just have to experiment a bit. I'm starting to like this off camera lighting. I would definitely recommend this for portraits and small to medium sized products. Unfortunately, I was only able to use it for 3 photos. I had it set up against a wall when an un-named person, who was paying more attention to their phone, politely kicked one of the stand legs which gently placed the light, stand and modifier against the wall and then to the ground. At that point the light was making a hard right (the dish was really bent) and it was not usable for the rest of the night. I was able to bend it back into place later but I have not used it since. Another shoot is coming up in a couple of weeks and I will attempt to keep it grounded this time. I do have to say, I think the dish saved my AD200 from severe damage. Luckily, it still worked. 5
