[Windows, Mac] More convenient than repeatedly pulling the USB cables from one computer into another. One wish: that the LEDs were dimmer or could be turned off.

[Windows, Mac] This little switch does exactly what I need and quickly. I was looking for something that would take up the smallest footprint while allowing me to switch my Yeti Mic and Razor Kiyo between my work laptop and home PC.

Love the button box as it allows me to place the switch off my desk while not having to dig around to swap machines. Only update I'd like to see here, would be a led identifier on the button box.

USB 3's that are provided are about 4 ft in length. I had to use an extension for my PC and haven't noticed any performance issues.

I guess one other requested feature would be to have mounting points for the bottom of the box, but it is lightweight enough to use command strips.

Overall, would purchase again if needed.

[Plastic] all pros: predictable switching between systems, long term reliability, outgrew some of my 2x4 switches and did not think twice about getting the 4x4 switch, it was an automatic decision.

[USB bus powered] With COVID-19 upon us, like many people in software engineering I'm now working from home. My home has a fantastic PC with a mechanical keyboard, mouse and larger monitor which I wanted to use with my Macbook Pro. Additionally, in the future I might have a gaming rig and a few dedicated Linux boxes, and this device delivered on all fronts.

The little separate button is fantastic, I was able to drop the actual USB switch below my desk and only be left with the little button on my desk. You do have to round robin between the inputs, so having a good mental memory of what input number you're on and which input number you're trying to get to is important.

While a KVM can theoretically provide a little bit more of an integrated solution between devices AND video, the framerate limits of KVMs coupled with some uncertainty regarding their ability to work with adaptive vsync specifications (gsync or freesync) left me a little leery of making what would be a more substantial investment. In the end, this solution works fantastically well and obviously won't ever present framerate limitations or introduce video latency.

[Plastic] Need 4x4 with USB 3.0 and Type-A and Type-B connectors. This is it. Switch 4 peripherals between 4 computers. Has light weight, small switch with long, small cable, that extends away from switch that you can put way back, away from operating area. You just need to see LED light to discover what computer switch is fixed upon. Push button to change computer. Well built, coming with 4 cables of good length for computers (having Type-A and Type-B connectors. Another nice piece of gear from a company that makes good products.
