The ATEN US424 4-Port USB Sharing Deviceenables 4 computers to share the use of 4 USB devices - a keyboard, mouse, and up to two peripheral devices. It is designed to eliminate having a separate USB keyboard, mouse, and peripheral devices for each computer. [Plastic] Very well made, handy wired single button remote for switching between machines, plenty of power for USB devices. I'm using this switch to share my devices between my PC and Mac at my desk. I simply switch inputs on my monitor and press the super handy remote button included with this unit and all my devices are switched over. I had worried about how my audio interface would handle being switched between a Mac and a PC, but so far it has worked perfectly with my Scarlett 2i2. 5

[8.47 oz (240 g)] Use it as a classical setup (with new Mac Mini (late 2018): Printer, Keyboard, Trackball & external HDD (Time Machine backup). Works superb, and with added bonus (included Charge & Sync USB-C to USB Type-A adapter) makes it an excellent buy. All my new and older IOGEAR peripherals work great, including 10-year old 1 TB HDD (use it as a Time Machine backup with older iMac) - I have to see if IOGEAR still make it (or, rather newer SSD)... Others may try cheaper peripherals (hit AND, mainly, miss!!!), but I am old-school loyalty-type-of-guy. Thanks you, IOGEAR & B&H - winning combination! 5

[Plastic] This works quite well as long as you don't use a Dell USB docking station. That docking station overwhelms the USB bus with video signal and makes any other hub time out. Can't even use the docking station just for video and this for the USB. Otherwise it works like a charm. Fast switching between machines. 5

[0.65 lb] Unlike many KVMs, this thing actually does what it says it can. I'm running two 4K monitors at 60Hz with absolutely no stability issues between a Mac and an Ubuntu machine. Will definitely go for another ATEN box if my needs change. 5
