Q: 1. Does the CD player connect to the Analog Inputs in the back panel? What type of cable connectors should be used? RCA?

A: The best way to connect a consumer CD player to this unit would be to utilize either the S/PDIF Coaxial or S/PDIF Optical digital inputs. The analog inputs are balanced 1/4-inch TRS or XLR, and usually connect to professional audio gear, such as a mixing board or a CD player, such as the Tascam CD-500B Single-Rackspace CD Player (Balanced), BH #TACD500B.

Q: 2. I'm planning use same speakers for HTPC and turntable. Can I use that device as some kind of pre / pro with turntable when my HTPC will be switch off? And if answer is yes then how can I set up volume?

A: The The Aurora 16 USB from Lynx Studio Technology will not operate in standalone mode. A more appropriate device for your HTPC setup would be the RME Fireface UFX II USB Audio Interface; B&H# RMUFX2.

Q: 3. What frequency? Square or sine wave output?

A: The Antelope Isochrone Trinity Master Clock Generator (B&H # ANISOTR) features three (3) independent and simultaneous audio generators up to 384kHz and varispeed control +/- 200 cents. It is a 10 MHz atomic master clock. There are no documents that address sine/square wave specifications.

[1 RU] I've been using the DA telecon with the DA 300mm lens on a K-3 and have been blown away by how good it is. At the edges of the image, you do see some additional CA in the focus transition areas, but in the center of the image, sharpness is so good it's hard to care. This is such an incredible step up from the old Kenko teleplus, which was itself leagues better than designs we had access to dating to the 70s and 80s. Combined with high sensor resolution affording freedom in cropping, this combination is great for middle distance daylight bird photographs. If you've been avoiding buying a teleconverter because they used to be pretty awful on modern digital sensors, give this one a try.

[13.15 lb] After years of shifting priorities, I've finally acquired the converter. So glad the price dropped $200.

Now, I can finally use the AF feature with an extender; which was not an option with the Vivitar 2x Extender I still have from my Pentax film days.

Works as designed, so smooth.

[1 RU] I've been using the Antelope Audio Orion 32+ Gen 4 for a few months since the release and it's become the backbone of my studio setup. This interface is a game-changer, especially for professional-grade audio production.

[1 RU] I've now tried this with all my autofocus Pentax lenses, and I have absolutely no complaints when it comes to sharpness and color. My 60-250 mm f/4 SDM lens becomes an 85-350 mm f/5.6 lens with the converter. That's pretty close to the near universal 100-400 mm zoom offered by other manufacturers, so it's very useful for wildlife photography. It focuses just as close, and the additional magnification allows it to become something of a macro lens. It works at least as well as I had hoped, maybe better.

[1 RU] The cleanest sound I've ever heard from my speakers and headphones. Built-in EQ is really valuable as well as the remote control.

[13.15 lb] This is an absolutely amazing sound creation device that can be used as a standalone part of a stereo system or as the ADC/DAC unit of a PC/laptop/tablet based audio system. And also as a wired receiver for portable devices. The sound quality is excellent! The build quality is amazing. Numerous features that can be used either with direct menu buttons or (better) with the RME app for Win/Mac/iPad. Individual parametric equalization of headphones or room configurations with saveable presets is a very useful feature. But there are many more features that you can check out and customize to suit your individual needs. The ability to save settings by profile is very valuable. The only cons I found is that the LED backlight cannot be controlled by any software or menu options. When the device is installed in the bedroom, the bright red LED ring around the power button in standby mode creates too much irritating lighting. And also a non-switchable internal LED backlight with a warm (lamp) glow through the ventilation holes of the case in operating/idling mode. The manufacturer responded that the current hardware layout of the board does not allow controlling the brightness/on/off of the LEDs. I think this design flaw can be addressed in future developments, either by reworking the board or upgrading the model. At least, make each LED RGB style so the color/hue can be customized, and create options to turn them on/off based on events/schedules via menu/app settings.
