[0.415 lb] Overall we are very satisfied with this product. It works great, is built to last, and is a great traveling companion. So far we've tested with a Nikon D750 and Ikan 7 monitor. In the near future we'll test with our Sony cameras. For a small sized travel jib - we are glad we went with Kessler.

Glad I didn't, as this unit is compact and well engineered. I like the craftsmanship and cutouts that help reduce weight. I use it with a Canon 70D and accessories that weigh about 7 lbs. This all is balanced with a 5lb weight and moves smoothly.

[1 lb / 0.5 kg] We use this for DSLR video work. Excellent build, nice balance, compact, and produces very smooth moves. Has a nice reach for how small it is when collapsed. It would be perfect if the camera platform had more movement options, but it's designed to be portable and something has to give. All Kessler products I've used are well machined, very strong and reliable. A bit expensive, but you get what you pay for.

That being said, I didn't think it would be as good as it is. It was huge surprise looking at the quality of the manufacturing, materials and engineering. It is smooth as glass and he's here to assemble than I thought it would be. This is the central gear to any traveling videographer.

[0.415 lb] I have had my Pocket Jib Traveler for a few years. I was always troubled by not being able to control the camera tilt when I did a vertical slide. For some time a Bescor MP101 solved the problem. Then I overloaded it and stripped the tilt gear. A Ronin-MX has been on the wish list for a long time and it finally went from the wish list to the shopping cart.
I quickly realized the rear extension of the MX would not clear the crane when severely tilted. The MX is designed to be underslung so I built a hanger for it that is long enough to clear the crane arm in any position. The combination pictured is what I call my indoor flight rig.�
The tripod is on heavy duty wheels. I look through the GH5 lens with the Panasonic Image App WiFi connected to and iPad. The MX wireless pad completes the rig.�
Warning, this is an addicting rig for indoor work. I do like shooting vertical slides. The crane is strained to its limits. I am using 10lbs of counterweight.

After hours of researching the different options for compact, lightweight pocket jibs, I opted for the slightly heavier Kessler because it seems to be built best, carry a heavier camera load, have minimal flex, etc, etc. it does not disappoint. I was able to set it up without following any instructions, and it sets up in close to a minute. Word to the wise, go get a 5lb dumbbell free weight from @ ($) - this jib comes with a cling to hold the weight. 5lbs should do the trick for most cameras... Especially with the adjustability Kessler provides... Sliding the weight back/forth until it's just right, then lock 'er in. Enjoy!
