Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Hello, I have a Deardorff 8x10. Does this fit in the backpack? What is the interior measurement of the main pocket?

A: Yes it will fit; 13.0 x 13.0 x 6.0" / 33.0 x 33.0 x 15.2 cm 8.0 x 13.0 x 6.0" / 20.3 x 33.0 x 15.2 cm

Q: 2. Are there caps on this? I am concerned about dust. Without caps my concern is you have a little cup pointing up catching dust, you put the lens on and flip it, dust falls onto rear of lens, put lens back on camera, dust in camera.

A: there are no provided caps....you could use a camera body cap or use two lenses so that it's always covered ...just a note--the camera body caps don't fit very tight...at least mine don't...

Q: 3. When attaching a lens does it lock in place like it would on a camera?

A: Yes it does. It basically works the same as the camera. Both sides also have color markings for the EF or EF-S lenses. The only problem though is they are very small markings and sometimes hard to see. I used my wifes fingernail polish to make the marks bigger though and that solved the problem. All and all I really love this tool and am very happy with it.

Q: 4. Is the waist belt on this bag (the f.64 BPX Extra Large Backpack) removable or is it permanently attached?

A: Always attached

Q: 5. i bought this product attached lens one side ok other side not able to remove the lens?

A: I have attached two lens all the time with no problem removing either lens. I was late in responding because I wanted to test the flipper in cold weather with two lens to see if weather had any effect on the flipper but it does not.As with any lens mounting just be careful to align the dots on the lens with the dots on the flipper. I hope this answers your question.

Q: 6. I have an 8X10 wooden pinhole box camera, dimensions are 12X10X7. Is there any chance it could sqeeze into the bottom compartment?

A: On compartment is 13.0 x 13.0 x 6.0" / 33.0 x 33.0 x 15.2 cm. so close once inch short on the short dimension. It might work but that can only be determined by testing.

Q: 7. What is the length of this bag?

A: This bag is 3 feet long. Enough for it to carry 3 or 4 light stands, 2 umbrellas, one tripod, and 2 fold up soft boxes.

Q: 8. Since this is an item that is meant to carry an extra lens, how is that accomplished with out an over the shoulder strap?

A: The GoWing Lens Flipper Versatile for Canon RF-Mount Lenses has a 1/4"-20 socket, so it could be carried with camera strap systems that use a 1/4"-20 stud.

Q: 9. If I order this for fuji x now, when can I get this product?

A: We are expecting availability for this product August 25th, 2016.

Q: 10. Would this product hold up to having two large L telephoto lenses attached all day on a long hot day outside? Can the plastic hold up to it? I was just thinking if a person became good at this change-over system, this could hold the 2nd and 3rd lenses, counting the 1st on the camera body. Is there anything that tells of a maximum weight or anything that would prevent this?

A: Holding two lens would not hang or balance as good on the side of your body. I first researched the product on the manufactures webpage. The center ring is all metal and there was a video of a man hanging off the strap. Who knows if it was not a lucky try and many breaks, but it shows the center is quite strong. The lens mount strength are all in the screws holding the metal rings to the body but it looks strong enough to support a large lens over time. I have only briefly owned mine but it seems to be a well made product. One dropped expensive lens would be too much bad press for such a company, I would think.

[61" / 155 cm] I have used this product a few times. This is a convenient way to have access to a second lens.

[1" / 2.5 cm] Solved the problem of not having enough hands to change lenses back and forth, particularly where your needs keep changing from one minute to the next. Others had cautioned about mixing up the buttons and accidentally releasing the wrong lens--but I had no trouble with this (but I am very cautious in handling my lenses). I just came back from visiting 3 National Parks and found this product to be a tremendous help switching between my Canon EFS 10-22 and my Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM. I am anxious to check out the belt clip which GoWing has had in redesign for some time (disappointed that GoWing has taken so long on that).

[61" / 155 cm] This is an ingenious little device that makes lens swapping a breeze. Works great with my Fuji lenses (most of the time sigma 18-50 and fuji 70-300). The lenses feel secure and the device seems sturdy and well built.

[0.41 lb] Often I want to travel light when I am out taking photos. This accessory allows me to carry an extra lens without having to use a backpack. Changing lenses is fast and easy. I put the front lens cap of the lens on the camera in my pocket, and don't have to fool with the rear lens cap at all. I wish the strap was a little wider. That would make it more comfortable. If I have to scramble, it is pretty easy to move the lens toward my back to protect it. I have a feeling this may be one of the most useful gadgets I have purchased.

[61" / 155 cm] I am often times on location shooting and switch back and forth between two lenses. I don't want to always carry both my D810's with tho separate lenses. I tried carrying a bag to cary the second lens but it was kinda cumbersome trying to stuff a lens in the top zipper opening, even though the bag was made for this type of use. It worked OK but wasn't ideal. This is the answer to my prayers. Even though it is mostly plastic it does seem well made. Easy one hand use and lightweight. Very happy!

[1" / 2.5 cm] For all of those times you want to carry one lens in addition to the one on your body, but don't want to lug around another bag, the ingenious design of this device is just what you need. Your additional lens is always right at your side and easy to swap quickly, minimizing the potential for damage or dust accumulation on your lenses or inside your camera body. Very easy to use and convenient.

[1" / 2.5 cm] This thing is used to carry one or two lenses in the lightest way possible. It's comfy, despite the narrow, lightweight strap, because E-mount lenses aren't very heavy. I wouldn't try it with the 70-200, though. The middle part is plastic and might break off, not to mention that at that weight, the strap would probably start cutting into your shoulder. For all the other lenses, though, it's the lightest, most comfortable way to carry them. It affords them zero protection, but if you're reasonably careful, you'll save a lot of weight, including the weight of the bag. And it makes lens changes super easy! There's a plastic shield in the middle that keeps dirt out of the back ends of the lenses while they're mounted on the carrier.
