With a clear line of sight, wirelessly transmit 1080p video up to 200' with the IOGEAR Wireless 5 x 2 HD Matrix Pro. This system includes a wireless transmitter and receiver and allows you to wirelessly multicast video to up to 4 wireless receivers; additional receivers are optional and sold separately. The wireless transmitter has 4 HDMI and a component video input for interfacing high-definition video sources like Blu-ray players and gaming systems. The wireless receiver features an HDMI-port for outputting video to an external display. An HDMI cable is included for display connections and both the receiver and transmitter include remote controls for simplified operation.

A: This system is not expandable beyond this kit.

A: Up to three additional separately sold transmitters can be paired with the receiver. But only one receiver may be used in a system.

Q: 9. Does the transmiter need a power source to work, or do you just plug it in the HDMI port of the notebook? If it does need a power source, which kind of power does it use? To you connect it to an available USB port on the notebook or do you have to connect it to a power plug?

[< 1 ms] This thing is not only bullet proof and driver free, it has an excellent image quality. A great solution for the "TV on the wall, but the table is in the middle of the room" conference room problem. No wires! 5

[ DTS Audio] Works better than expected. Actually just plugged in the sending unit to the source and the receiving unit to the tv and it worked almost immediately. Distance about 50', sending unit is inside a cabinet with wood doors (no glass at all) and there is one thick wall between source and tv. Great product... just wish you could hook up additional receivers for other tvs to the same source, apparently it just supports one receiver. 5

[1x Barrel Input] Setup took 5 minutes, longer to figure out how to hide the receiver than set up the product. No drivers are required. The receiver does appear to go into sleep mode so you do need to hit the power button on the top to wake the unit up before it will display. 5

[1x Barrel Input] IoGear wireless video Matrix Pro is a great piece of gear I recently added to my audio/video company !! Saves lots of time from running all the long VGA cords. All the recievers connect quickly after you pair them(which took like 1 minute or less and easy to do! ) when you first get them. Set up time for 4 projectors now goes from 30 min to less than 5 minutes ! 5
