A: I have been told that Zeiss filters are the best quality. I purchased one and have not been disappointed. That being said, B+H also sells very high quality filters, usually at a lower price than Zeiss. I would ask myself... Am I putting a high quality filter on a cheap lens? OR If you have purchased high quality lenses, why would you put cheap glass between you and your subject? My philosophy is to buy the best lens I can afford and put comparable filter glass on it to protect it or enhance the photo.
