A: Yes, the ATEN CS1964 4-Port 4K Triple Display KVMP Switch will keep the signal active so that there is no window reformatting when switching between computers.

[1.1 lb] This is what you need to get your camera with HDMI into your computer for streaming. I also ordered an IOGEAR HDMI to USB Type-C Video Capture Adapter (BH #IOGUV301 $99.95) and they are functionally identical and also in form. The only difference is the writing on the outside. My mac mini sees both at the same time and they feed OBS together as discreet sources. This is not a high-end Blackmagic or Matrox box, but I have no complaint for the streaming I'm doing. 5

[1 x DC Jack] I have used Aten KVMs for years. Whenever I am looking for one for another purpose or to match upgraded equipment, I always end up buying another Aten. This KVM doesn't disappoint. Are you stuck working from home? Do you have a sweet home computer with multiple DisplayPort monitors? Do you want to be able to use that same setup with a work computer or laptop? If you answered yes to those questions, this is the KVM for you. I bought this for my wife so she can use her dual monitor setup with work and home computers. She love s it. I have the 4 port version for myself, since I have a couple other computers to manage. Simply put, these KVMs just work. 5

[1.1 lb] Purchased this recently to consolidate desk space between work and personal PCs to share the same monitors. Very easy to setup and use. Initially there were some minor quirks when switching computers, such as one monitor not being recognized, but that seems to have gone away now, perhaps due to updated drivers, settings, etc. 5

[4] This is plug-and-play: it worked right out of the box on my Mac, and also on a Windows-based laptop I use for another job, connecting to my Sony FX6. I had to figure out, through trial and error, that the frame rate I send out of the camera must be 29.97 in order for the computer to understand the signal. But once I had that sorted, I wound up with an image far superior to my webcam. 5

[1.1 lb] Unlike many KVMs, this thing actually does what it says it can. I'm running two 4K monitors at 60Hz with absolutely no stability issues between a Mac and an Ubuntu machine. Will definitely go for another ATEN box if my needs change. 5
