[0.19 lb] I now live in South Carolina. The capital city of South Carolina. When I noticed the earpads for the high end headphones left behind by my ex-husband were disintegrating, leaving little black specs in my ears, I called around. One guy at a well known audio business here assured me I would never find what I was seeking for my audio-technica headphones. Dinosaurs. So when I discovered B&H online I felt vindicated. As a former New Yorker, I was heartened to read the history of B&H and can't wait to visit your store on my next sojourn up to the Big Apple {which is the name of a building here in Columbia, SC, originally built to be a synagogue, morphed into an African American dance hall in the 30's and now an event venue}. Enjoying the headphones again, thank you very much. 5

[0.19 lb] This is my second pair, I use my headphone a lot so wear on the pads is natural. Fits perfectly on the AT- MX40. As always shipping is way too fast which is a great plus. The replacements are a must and adds at least 18 months to your headphones. 5

[0.19 lb] I recommend it for those who want to replace their old pad. This one does not modify the audio at all. Previously, I bought another one of another brand, cheaper and of another style, since where I live it is hot, but when I tried it, the audio sounded different and did not feel as closed as these, I ended up returning them. On the other hand, these ones sound very good and do not distort the audio at all. The only drawback I can give you is that, they can wear out a lot and you have to be changing them at least every 2 to 3 years, but for the price and that they are original, I do not think it will be a problem. 5
