A: Yes. I have this on my 240 and it works very well.

A: Better ask Leica for a final answer. However, I assume the half case will fit all of the TYP 240 - 262 digital M bodies. The M10 is slimmer and so the half case would be too large on the M10.

A: 7.5 inches from ring till end. 5.5 opening

A: No, the Leica Protector for Q Typ 116 Half Case will not work for the Leica Q3 Digital.

A: It should. It fits my TL.

Q: 10. Will this fit a Leica M-P Type 240?

A: Yes. The size is good fit my Leica MP 240 body. I thought this leather case is made in Germany by Leica. When I received I found out that it is made in the cheap labor country China. The quality is not bad. I got the impression that $159 is slightly expensive because it is made in China

[Leather] This this is perfect for my new Q2. Fits both camera and wrist with just enough slack to be quickly available, yet still allowing full use of both hands. The neck strap tha comes with the camera is too long for the weight of the camera and allows it to sway enough to affect one's balance. Not cool for a 72 year old man. 5

[Leather] Recently getting a new M (TYP262) & the Summarit-M 50mm f/2.3 lens (and SF40 flash) in the Leica bundled kit, I knew that a hard case would make immediate sense as a means to protect my new camera and investment. Although expensive, the Leica-branded half case is superbly manufactured, fits perfectly, safely protects the camera as intended, and, gives more support when hand-holding the M camera. I know feel that my camera is easier to hold securely and won't slip out of my hand. I have always been a big fan of grips and half cases with my other camera brands owned, and I'd say the workmanship and quality the Leica half case is worth the cost. I cannot imagine using an expensive M rangefinder and Leica lens without the leather half case in place. 5

[Leather] Didn't think I really needed this, but for dust protection it's necessary. It makes my Safari edition Leica M-P look and feel great! 5
