This Core SWX Coiled D-Tap Cable for XLR Devicesallows you to connect a D-tap power source to any device that accepts 4-pin XLR female power inputs. It features a D-tap connector on one end and 4-pin XLR female connector on the other.

The cable runs 18" when contracted and 48" fully extended.

A: This is a regulated dummy batery for Sony cameras using L-series batteries. I would not recommend using this to power the SmallHD Indie 7. If you need to power the Indie 7 from Gold or V-mount batteries, SmallHD has battery plate to use in place of the L-series plates. The only regulated dummy battery they released for the Indie 7 seires is going to AC power.

A: Yes you can. The Shinobi has a Sony NP-F style battery plate. You can use this to power the Atomos Shinobi from a battery with a D-Tap port.

A: NOT as far as I know. Never had an issue with the cable though. Just make sure you dont force it into the ptap Connection

[1x D-Tap] The recommendation I got From B&H photo was a good one because this item was not easy to find. It works perfectly with my V-Lock battery which powers my Sony PXW Z150. 5

[1x D-Tap] Integrated female P-tap along with the 4 pin XLR power adapter makes this essential for any F3 Operator who has invested into the Anton Bauer ecosystem. P-tap connectors are generic but high quality. Cabling is 18 gauge with 8 of cable between the female P-tap and the XLR connector makes it versatile with different camera/accessory configs. The price is right as well. 5

[1x D-Tap] Sometimes I like to run a Kinoflo mini-flo as an eyelight/onboard camera light...and I no longer use a 4-pin XLR battery plate...but I always have p-taps available on camera, so I finally got one of these. It's solid, and the coil really helps keep it tidy. 5

[Unregulated] It gives me the option to power up to two things at the same time. I use it with a Sony F3 and then also to power a LCD monitor at the same time and the same time. Can't ask for more... 5
