A: The UT3 transmitter does NOT supply +48V phantom power. It can be used with battery-powered condenser mics and dynamic mics which do not require any power source. When using a camera that can supply phantom power for a microphone, there is typically a switch that allows you to select whether phantom power is on or off to allow use of microphones that do not require phantom power.
