This 2-fiber, single-mode Tactical Fiber Systems Cable & Reel, 250 ft in length, features TFS's DuraTAC stainless steel armored inner core and TFS BullsEye anodized aluminum connectors.

DuraTAC is TFS's solution to wear and tear that ultimately cuts through the Kevlar that surrounds the fiber cores in tactical cables. DuraTAC comprises a stainless steel armored inner core underneath the Kevlar, providing protection against stepping, cutting, and rodents. Other than being stronger, DuraTAC cables are also about half as thin and half as light, so you get more cable on your reel.

TFS BullsEye connectors are equipped with waterproof dust covers and together with the DuraTAC cable offer good protection against contamination and damage.

[12 x 10 x 8"] I bought this reel to wrangle 300+ feet of Cat6. It handles that much cord and more. I like the outer spool that holds a small amount so I don't have to undo the whole thing every time; I pull out as much as I need based on the run I need. The side clips are clever to hold the cord in check, but they fall off easily. So, they could be a bit better. That's the only complaint. Otherwise, it's serving my needs exactly as expected. 5

[BullsEye] I use a Dejero Go Box bonded cellular video transmitter for news live shots and having a cable solution that's lightweight and compact like the Dejero is very important. I work from a SUV and I need to keep things as small as possible. The reel is a simple design but very well made, it does a great job of protecting the cable while stored in the vehicle. As it can lay flat anyone looking for a cable reel that easy to pack and travel with this is the solution. It makes efficient use of its size. 5

[BullsEye] Yeah, I was as skeptical as you are, but having tried plenty of different level solutions for use on top of a cage or camera body including several DIY levels, I thought why not. I'm pleased to say that this level has exceeded my expectations. It's pricey, but well made, accurate (especially for a tiny bullseye level) and even pretty attractive too. I'm buying more of them. 5

[7 lb] This small level is attached to my video camera so that I make sure my shots are level (no more adjusting the rotation by .5 degrees in post). It is well built and easy to read. The sensitivity is very high, to the point of taking extra time, but then again I'd rather have a level shot than a one off kilter. I don't think it's going to fall apart any time soon, so I'm happy with the price. 5

[7 lb] We have been using four TFS DuraTAC fiber reels for outdoor events over the past three years without any issues. Cable diameter is slightly less than competitive cables but they are more durable because they are reinforced with stainless steel armored tubing. Highly recommended! 5
