A: The Expert Shield Glass Screen Protector for Leica D-Lux (Typ 109) should fit the D lux 8 as the dimensions of the LCD are very close, but we cannot guarantee that it will fit perfectly like a glove.

[0.055 lb] I am operating a d lux 7 and this flash with one hand It is that easy. let me explain .I am residing in a rest home.A stroke left me with my left side pretty much usless being wheel chair bound and right arm only ,( I was left handed),Ineed good eqipment,that I can operate with one hand . These pictures were taken today in very poor lighting not only did the flash do a greatjob,I got it on and off the d lux 7 with ease.I was avoiding using this flash because i was intimedated being handicapped.No problem the flash is awesome. 9i 5

[Cognac Brown] Perfect fit and length for casual carrying the D-Lux Type 109. I bought the camera so I could carry it easily and use it on a moment's notice. The wrist strap is great in that it keeps the camera very secure as you carry it about in your travels. Also nicely constructed. Works for me. 5

[Leather] Paid $10 for a 25 cent piece of plastic just because it's Leica. Another $5 for 3 week back ordered shipping in a 10x14 envelope. Go figure. 5

[0.055 lb] I rate this tiny thing very highly. It and the D-Lux 7 are a great combination for casual travel photography. (I just returned from a long trip, and decided that I'm too old to keep around my clunky dslr with 2 or 3 lenses.) And B&H's quick, reliable service is as impressive as ever. (I've used them since they started in the '70's.) 5

[Cognac Brown] For its size, this flash is amazingly powerful - as much as I need, even at 15-18 feet. And the color balance is excellent. Used close up (5 feet or less), I adjust exposure to -.5 or -1 or the photos wash out but that's to be expected. I try to avoid direct flash at all costs, but when I don't or can't, what's most impressive is how it yields images that do not have those dreaded harsh shadows. It is a very good unit - highly recommended. 5
