A: No you don't, the 5D mk IV has a N3 type socket. Depending on your shutter release remote. If it's an N3 type, it will just plug into the 5D, but if it's an E3 type(like a headphone jack) then you will need another adapter, not this one.

Q: 8. Will this work with a pocket wizard?

A: Technically, this cable could work with a Pocket Wizard if you had a cable with a 3 pin remote connection for Canon which terminates into a miniphone connector.

Q: 9. Can the built-in microphone be muted?

A: You can mute it on the device but there is no dedicated mute button on the headphones.

Q: 10. How many dB of noise reduction do these offer?

A: 26 dB is the noise reduction level.

[0.05 lb] I got these because I can't wear over-the-head headphones while gaming, and most other gaming earbuds are the suction kind which are incredibly uncomfortable. The other issue is that Apple's earpods don't work out-of-the-box with PS4, so there aren't a lot of options left. If you're like me, and you NEED the following, then get this: - PS4 out-of-the-box compatibility - Won't fall out - Hours long comfort - Microphone - Decent sound quality - Great price 5

[9 mm] I had always heard good things about JBL, so when my apple earbuds broke, I came here to look for a replacement. The apple style of earbud is the only thing that fits in my ears, and these are so much more comfortable than Apple. They sound SO MUCH BETTER too!! I love these and can't believe it took me this long to buy some. 5

[50 mW] I've had these headphones for almost 2 years now. I use them almost daily. I like that I can be aware of my surroundings if I am out in public. The music sounds good on them. Whenever I am talking on the phone with these the person on the other end can always hear me perfectly. I also like that whenever I had to ride the bus it was obvious I had headphones in so people wouldn't talk to me. Sometimes I wouldn't even be listening to music. :) 5
