NuGen Audio SEQ-S Linear Phase EQ Plug-Infrom NuGen Audio SEQ-S Linear Phase EQ Plug-Inis a plug-in that provides sonic sculpting and EQ matching up to 7.1, with stereo mid-side operation and automated spectrum analysis. The software allows for manipulating and correcting any audio with higher resolution than can be achieved with a traditional parametric EQ interface. A direct-draw interface and detailed spectrum analysis make it easy to quickly identify and specifically fine-tune audio.

Additionally EQ matching via sonic fingerprinting provides some unique possibilities. The plug-in can be used to match one recording to another by capturing the "flavor" of the source audio and then transferring it to the current work. This is especially useful for restoration and harmonization work. Or the same technique can be applied to individual tracks to unify different takes, microphone positions, and more.

EQ Invert control delivers a minimally-invasive technique for creating space in a complex mix where traditional EQs are just too destructive. By "sampling" the vocal and applying the inverted curve to the backing, specific space can be gently created without unnecessarily altering the original tonality of the underlying audio. A "Quality Setting" provides extra precision in the low frequencies, allowing for highly transparent adjustments without muddying the mix. The resolution can be scaled to suit any task.

A: The AKG 414's will trump the onboard mics of either machine.

Q: 2. What is the effective range for this microphone? I.e. on a stage 15 feet deep and 40 feet wide, how many of these would we need (sic how few could I get away with )?

A: Our stage is 28 feet deep by 40 feet wide. We use 3 floors mics.

Q: 3. Will this work on a carpeted stage or floor?

A: This is designed for hard surfaces. Mounting to a carpeted surface will affect the performance of this mic severely.

A: This equilizer would be used to adjust the main output of a sound mixer system, and would allow you to focus in frequencies that may be causing feedback. Idividual channels on a mixing board would be used to adjust the microphones.

[1 User] This EQ has a lot of character and you will hear it very quickly even with very small adjustments. I've been using it very successfully on vocals along with the dbx560A compressor. Not a subtle, surgical, EQ. It definitely adds harmonic richness. 5

[Download] A very handy device that can easily serve two functions, First, it obviously does a phase reverse. Also it allows you to CHECK for correct phasing just by inserting it inline. (hence no more trying to turn around a 1/4 ,a speakon , or a banana plug,), Way Cool ! 5

[1 User] They are not Lippizana stallions more like Clydesdales that toe the line and get the job done. We have used other PTT that have a more fancy button and more stylish. But these are hard core and last for years. Not only on the PTT button but the XLR input which break down after lots of handling. And we never buy the bases that have an output mic cable coming out. They break more easily like those darn power supplies. Always get an output XLR jack on the base. This way you replace the bad mic cable and you are not down a mic the day of the meeting. We have over 80 mic bases and they rarely need maintenance. 5

[1 User] Makes great recordings without complicated set up. I've seen lots of questions here and thought I would jump in and give some clarification of what this recorder is designed to do. It's a masterpiece if you want to show up and make a great recording of live music or some other sound that could be used in a professional recording. The microphones are certainly adequate, the case is hardened, it has two XLR inputs with phantom power in case you want to use pro external microphones. you can set it up in one minute, turn it on, and be ready to go without all of the time and distraction of setting up separate microphones, microphone processors, AD converter's, Setting levels, and so forth. I have used mine as a safety copy of pro recordings coming off a mixing board. It even has digital inputs. if you were going to use it with a bunch of accessories and it never leaves your house, I think it's probably overkill and it's not really what it's designed to do although it certainly will. 5

[Download] Many years ago, I purchased the Sony PCM-D1, which produced excellent sound recordings, and it was $2000.00. The new PCM-D10, brings sound recording to a new level, at $499.00 By adjusting the attached microphones capsules, it becomes a shotgun microphone, still having excellent sound quality, at a much more affordable price. 5

[Download] The Crown/AKG PCC160 is a reliable boundary mike for theatre - solidly built (I know - I've stepped on these more than once), good pickup and sound, good rejection of unwanted sound. Flexible mounting - on the floor, but also works well on wall, ceiling, set piece, whatever has enough flat surface to conduct sound to the capsule. 5
