Featuring a 480 x 234 resolution TFT LCD panel, this ProAm USA Iris 7" LCD Video Monitorfrom ProAm USA Iris 7" LCD Video Monitoraccepts standard-definition NTSC or PAL composite video sources for easy viewing. If your camera is mounted on a jib or a crane, a monitor is essential for checking your composition. This monitor is also useful mounted atop your camera. The 7" LCD provides more screen real estate than the LCDs available on most cameras. Having a larger screen makes it easier to check your composition as well as focus your camera's lens to ensure that your subject is consistently sharp.

The LCD panel is capable of displaying 16:9 footage as well as legacy 4:3 footage from older camcorders. You can also adjust the color, brightness, and contrast of the display to match your workflow. Audio from your camera can be played back through integrated stereo speakers or separately available headphones via the 3.5mm stereo jack. Mounting hardware for securing the monitor to a jib or the top of your DSLR or camcorder is included. For power, use the included battery mount for separately available Canon BP batteries, or use the included AC adapter and power cable. A wireless remote control is also included for making necessary adjustments on the fly.

A: The ProAm USA Iris 7" LCD Video Monitor display does not have an HDMI input that would be required to connect to the Lumix or most cameras shipping today. No the display would not work with the Panasonic Lumix G95. I will add another model with HDMI input as well as the HDMI cable plus battery you will need below. A: Sorry, but this monitor is not listed as working at 24P so we will have say that no, it would not work with the GH4. The most affordable on-board monitor we have that does 24p is the ikan listed below.

Q: 3. Is this compatible with the Canon EOS Rebel T3?

A: The ProAm USA Iris Pro 7" On-Camera Monitor Basic Kit can receive an HDMI signal from the Canon EOS Rebel T3, but would require a Mini-HDMI to HDMI cable in order to connect.

Q: 4. Will this work with a Canon 60D?

A: In matching a monitor to a camera, first it must be determined that the monitor can play the FPS rates the camera produces. The Canon 60D creates video at @ 1920 x 1080: 30 fps, 25 fps, 24 fps. According to ProAm, the P7HD2 Iris Pro LCD Monitor will work with 24, 24.97, 25, 29.97, 30, 50i, 50p, 60i and 60p FPS. So you are good to go.

Q: 5. Can I use this on the BlackMagic Design URSA 4K 10 screen?

A: Well I found the sticking parts of the unit do not allow the monitor to close properly after I installed the unit. I had to find an other way to attach it. I believe a sun protector with a band that you can remove at will would be best. I do not recommend this product.

Q: 6. Does this package come with the correct battery or does it need to be bought separately?

A: Needs to be ordered separately.

Q: 7. Is there any reason I can't hook this to an Apple TV and use to headphones output to send the audio to a home audio system?

A: As the ProAm USA Iris 7" LCD Video Monitor does not support HDCP, this would result in the AppleTV having an HDCP error and refusing to playback content.

Q: 8. The outside dementions of my moniter is 9.5 X 6.75 wil the 10 hood fit?

A: If the monitor you are using is 10" diagonal, which would fall in line with the specs you gave, this sun shade should work fine with it.

Q: 9. Will this work with a Canon 1Ds MK ii?

A: This would work with the Canon 1Ds Mark II.

Q: 10. Hi, would this monitor work for the Sony A350 camera? It’s an older model DSLR

A: So long as you have the USB to AV cable needed to output video from the Sony A350, you could output a video feed from the camera to the ProAm USA Iris 7" LCD Video Monitor.

[Plastic] I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. I work for a hospital system and we have mostly hard surface smooth floors. This dolly rolls perfectly on them and has allowed me to get some great footage. It folds and packs nicely into the carrying case and can easily fit in cases with other gear. I recommend it 100%. 5

[2.74 lb] The Iris Pro 1080i Compatible HDMI LCD Monitor allows me to do my job so much better. No longer do I need to look at the tiny screen on the back of my camera to see what I am shooting. I can now setup my shots and show the rest of my team exactly what we are doing. The controls are easy to use and well positioned on the screen. [OSD Flip] Although my monitor was not able to display the screen without distorting the entire view, I had to switch it to another ratio for it to be correct- not sure if it is due to the fact that I am working with an older DSLR model, but it is much better than not being able to see myself at all. The camera I use is canon rebel eos t2i and does not come with a flip screen, so this saved me a lot of headache. However it is important to note that during filming, it is hard to gauge on screen whether or not I was exactly in focus as the pixels weren't too high resolution. I resorted to auto focus everytime I started filming or taking a photo, as the first 3 times I tried manual focus and it seemed to be sharp on screen- during the editing phase it was not. The price point was what helped influence my decision to take this chance, and it does the job. 5

[2:1] This dolly has a very solid build, most of its construction being sturdy metal and the handle being good quality plastic. It took me a little while to get my photo tripod into it, but once it was in it felt secure and comfortable. The bag it comes with is also a nice touch that feels like it will last a long time. The wheel locks are made of a rubbery plastic so i'm a little cautious about them, but they don't really seem weak either. Overall this is a really great piece of gear that has helped me get some smooth shots. 5
