The ProAm USA 8' Telescopic Boom Pole & Shock Mountfrom ProAm USA 8' Telescopic Boom Pole & Shock Mountfeatures a universal design which allows it to accept almost any microphone from handhelds to shotguns. The "dual-stage" shock mount has two separate sets of shock absorbing bands to hold the microphone in place, keeping it well isolated.

Q: 4. Can a Zoom H1 fit in the shock mount?

A: The normal maximum diameter(clearance for mics) on the shockmount is 1.625 across(1 and 5/8 ). The Specs for the Zoom H1 are 1.7 x 5.4 x 1.2 , so it is very close. **But, if you squeeze the handles on the shock-mount, you can open the maximum diameter for microphones(or your Zoom H1) just enough to slide the Zoom H1 in for a snug fit. In other words: Yes. It will fit based on the ZH1 dimension specs, but will be clamped in against rubberized metal. Doing this will work, but render useless the inner shock-mounting bands(closest to Mic chamber), but you will still have shock-mounting bands between the chamber and boom pole mount... So less shock/sound transfer up the boom pole than if you used no mount, but not as optimal as having a mic(or Zoom H1) actually suspended in the inner shock bands also... The good thing though is your ZH1 isn't likely going to fall out!;)

Q: 5. Can the wheels be removed and replaced with track wheels?

A: Yes, the regular wheels can be removed and replaced with track wheels. The ProAm USA SolidTrax Universal Track Dolly Wheel Assembly B&H # PRDLSTW, will work great with the ProAm USA Professional Tripod Dolly. However, if you wish to go straight to track, you could consider the ProAm USA SolidTrax Universal Track Dolly B&H # PRDLST. It comes with the track wheels installed.

Q: 6. Will the ProAm bearing attach to any manufacturers tripod legs?

A: Although mentioned in the products description, the ProAm USA 360° Pan Lockable Bearing Mount to 3/8" Tripod Legs is meant to mount between a Jib and tripod or bazooka.

A: This is a Universal dolly and should work with most tripods.

A: If you are connecting to a device with an mini HDMI input and the other side to a standard size HDMI output using the ProAm HDCBL_15 cable, then yes it will work.

A: The ProAm USA Universal Shock Mount for Microphones specifies compatibility with microphone diameters from 0.38" to 1.75". The Audio-Technica AT2020 Cardioid Condenser Microphone specifies a diameter of 2.05" and therefore would be too large and not compatible with the ProAM Universal Shock Mount.

[Aluminum] This ProAm dolly is a great value. One of the best I have used in this price range. The quick release pins make unfolding and folding the unit a breeze, and the leg clamps securely hold the legs of all three different tripods I have, a Davis&Sanford, Manfrotto, and a Benro. All have different style and diameter legs, but securely hold. The rubber coated casters glide over carpet, tile and stone floor with ease, and lock firmly in place. The only issues I have with the unit it the bag needs to be about 1/2 longer as it is a little tight to get the wheel end in. And I would have liked a unit that the leg clamps were non-movable. While I am sure the adjustment is helpful for some, I have no need to ever have the tripod base smaller than the dolly, if the clamps were just mounted to the end it would be less parts, and less weight. Other than that a great product. 5

[40 x 6.5 x 6.5"] I tried 3 previous shock mounts claiming to be able to hold a 42mm mic. I might as well have been using scotch tape. None of them would grip enough to keep the mic from easily sliding through. I am using this on a vintage (heavy) AKG tube mic, so I needed something really secure. This unit has both a spring clamp, and the quadruple rubber band style you see on SDC mics. Great job. It is actually better than the factory unit. Finally got something that works! 5

[2.15 lb] With this shock mount, I can literally pound on my desk and absolutely no resonance gets through the arm into the mic. I'm using this for my Audio-Technica ATR 2100 (the old mini USB model, not the newer X model with USB type C) which is about 28 mm in diameter, and the bands across the front and back hold it very nicely even though the actual sleeve is made for a 52 mm microphone. The isolation is PHENOMENAL. My super cheap mic arm is attached to my desk and used to send a resonating gong type sound into the mic any time something impacted the desk (a drink, my hand, etc.) and I hated subjecting my stream audience to that. That's no longer a worry! 5

[2.15 lb] I use this boom pole to teach the basics of location sound recording to my high school film and television students. For that purpose, it works perfectly. This is a no frills boom pole that does the job. It does not have an internal cable so you will have to secure an XLR cable down the length of the pole. The mic holder will take just about any mic you care to put into it. It is more suited to indoor shooting or in low wind situations with the included mic holder because it will not allow you to use a blimp and furry cover. The included mic holder does come off and you could attach any other that screws onto a 5/8 male or into 3/8 female. Again, for teaching students or for low budget production, this boom pole is a great value and does most of what other poles for twice the money will do. 5
