The Sensei Rear Lens Cap for Sony E-Mountis a plastic lens cap fitted for the rear of Sony E-Mount lenses. The rear lens cap is placed on the rear mount of a lens when it is not in use on a camera. The cap protects the rear element and lens mount from scratches, dust, water and fingerprints.

[Sony A] I lost my lens cap to my Zeiss Sony FE 4.0 24- 70 which I use all the time. The Sensei rear lens cap is cheaper and just as reliable / sturdy. B&H let me try it on my lens before purchasing which I really appreciate so if you need to replace yours consider saving money and going with this one. 5

[Plastic] These work just as well as caps that say Sony on them, but cost a bit less. I actually prefer these, as the ridges around the edge of these caps are slightly more pronounced than on the Sonys, making these easier to turn with gloves on. 5

[Sony A] The last guy who stated the caps did not fit must have ordered the wrong item because both caps fit perfectly. They also screw on with a little tension so you feel that they are connected well and not coming off. 5
