The VIGITRON MaxiiCopper Vi2700TX Ethernet and 60W PoE++ Extender Remote Unit, when used with the Vi2700RX Local Unit (available separately), meets the requirements for Ethernet and PoE transmission of high powered cameras and other PoE powered devices. It extends Ethernet and 802.3af PoE up to 3,000' (914m) using UTP cables.

The Vi2701TX can operate with Vi2500 series midspans and easily fits inside most camera housings and junction boxes. It supports single PD and dual PD IP cameras and provides a 40-56VDC output that can be used for auxiliary equipment related to the camera. The Vi2701TX is MegaPixel Certified (MPC), manufacturer compatibility tested, and type tested to network packet performance standards for providing error-free and quality operation. The use of Symmetric Bandwidth (SBW) technology assures full bandwidth transmission is maintained over the entire operational range for both uploads and downloads with Virtual Zero Packet Loss (VZPL).

A: If you are speaking about the distance from the VHW-HWPS-C4 to the cameras, then we are looking at 100 meters which is the ethernet standard. However, the distance between the VHW-HWPS-B and the VHW-HWPS-C4 is 300 meters.

Q: 4. Will this work to power a Ubiquiti G4 Doorbell Pro? I have the Wifi version and I'm looking to power it using PoE.

A: The OBSBOT USB-C to Ethernet POE Adapter is not something we have been able to test, because it is not made for the Ubiquiti G4 Doorbell. We recommend working with the following G4 doorbell power supply: the Ubiquiti Networks UniFi Protect G4 Doorbell Power Supply (B&H # UBG4DBPSUS).

Q: 5. Will this help boost video/audio signal over cat6 as well?

A: The Veracity OUTREACH Max G Gigabit Ethernet & POE Extender is primarily used for extended power and data signals; it would also ensure the signal would offer the highest quality transmission for long cable runs.

Q: 7. Is this 1 line input and POE output to 4 cameras? I have 1 available cat6 cable but need 2 cameras, long range, on the other side.

A: Yes. We also have a LONGSPAN Duo if you are only needing 2 cameras off the one long ethernet run. If you use the base unit on the switch end, VLS-1P-B, with the 57V DC power supply, VPSU-57V-800, you will receive 25 Watts total across the two ports. Q: 8. Are all 8 ports POE+? The yellow decal under them has POE on the left and then between 4 and 5 it says POE+ so want t be sure it's all 8 and not just 5, 6, 7, 8.

Q: 9. Would this device also extend the range of an Router/Access Point?

A: This unit will extend your power over ethernet distance another 100m. This will not give you better WIFI range from your router/access point.

[Aluminum] Utilized for POE cameras and the location had closed off ceilings with no struck space we utilized these little devils to split 1 camera that was not getting the coverage we needed into 2 cameras. They even work on the built in poe ports on standalone NVRs which is really handy. Seamless use so far. Seems to be a great product. I have already recommended to my colleague and they are getting some. He said to me "This is exactly what I needed" 5

[CE, UL, cUL] My old switch (another brand and the only non Netgear switch) failed. Looked at several models and settled on this one. PoE is a nice plus but I don't have a need or it right now but it is a nice feature to have. Devices connect and buzz the internet with no problems. No complaints 5

[0.6 lb (0.3 kg)] I needed a fanless ethernet switch with PoE+ for cameras and WiFi access points. This does the job well. I like that all ports can do PoE and that the unit is small. It comes with mounting screws and even rack mount ears. 5

[RoHS] We use the Palun converters for converting cameras that were installed over Coax and we want to convert them to Ethernet. They work great for this application and allow you to keep moving without running new wire. 5
