The Vi0021 ViewMate IP Camera Setup & PoE Tester Tool from Vigitron is a compact yet powerful tool for installing and troubleshooting PoE enabled devices. The tool accurately and continuously measures and displays the voltage and power level of PoE at the camera input on 2 separate displays.

When connected, ViewMate passes the PoE power from the Network Ethernet port to the remote PoE powered device such as an IP camera through the Camera port, and the Laptop port provides direct network connection from the remote IP camera to a local laptop for focusing and set up.

Powered directly from PoE sources, the Vi0021 doesn’t require any external power. It is compatible with IEEE 802.af, IEEE 802.at and most non-standard PoE systems up to 60 W for 100/10 BASE-T environments. ViewMate’s patent-pending design offers small and rugged packaging. It is a suitable diagnostic tool for all installers working with both CCTV and IT PoE systems.

A: Both lenses feature motors that have 20-pin HRS connections. You can use any Canon compatible zoom control with 20-pin connectors such as this one.

[6.1 x 3 x 1.4"] I've used these for over length cat6 cable runs in a school parking lot. The camera had 4 sensors and night IR. It also required 30W PoE at the camera. You will likely need to get a larger PoE injector for long runs that require PoE. I used a 60W PoE injector to run a 30W PoE camera out at about 600 feet. Need 60W PoE at the device, use the 90W PoE injector. Additionally, you will need one of these units for EACH side. 5

[0.15 lb] Purchased one of these for use with 4 Marshall CV605BK PTZ cams. They connected right away over ONVIF and also VISCA IP. It has most of the basic functions. Construction is all-metal and buttons, knobs, rocker, joystick all feel robust. The joystick is slow and smooth enough for on-camera moves, but the zoom (likely a camera limitation) so far has been on the fast side. It's also great having focus, color, iris buttons at your fingertips. Only gripe is that the Marshall camera's on screen menu is not working to select menu items. But I may not be doing something right. You can always use the camera's web interface or IR remote for detailed configuration. It also can't seem to connect to Panasonic PTZ cameras like the UE150, which isn't a huge deal for me since we use the RP150 for those. I was hoping that I could have several of these on a gig for quick adjustments to those cameras. Again, not a deal breaker. Anyway, we liked it so much that I bought a second one. Might pick up a few more. 5

[0.15 lb] This is a ( very late ) update to last year's review. In Jan 2022 , I used multiple ST12MHDLAN units to distribute (scoreboard and presentation ) video for a large gymnastics meet ( in a large convention center ) The ST12MHDLAN units worked perfectly at the event just like they did in my test "lab". see previous review for more details Note: I recommend using HDMI cables that have "slim" connector bodies. HDMI Cables with "fat" connector bodies will not seat perfectly ( and can be knocked loose easily ) due to the placement of a screw on the chassis of the ST12MHDLAN. 5
