The rugged yet lightweight ABS Yorkville Sound PS15P 15" Powered Loudspeaker 1400Wfrom Yorkville Sound PS15P 15" Powered Loudspeaker 1400Wis designed to be a Front-of House cabinet, side fill cabinet or floor monitor. The PS15P provides an integrated 1400W amplifier and uses a 15" ceramic woofer, with a 3" voice coil to deliver low end punch from as small a physical cabinet volume as possible. A focused 85° x 50° (H x V) conical horn delivers improved constant directivity. Multi-band limiting allows the cabinet to deliver maximum output. Integrated DSP enables the PS15P to operate in any application without complex external processing. A simple one-button high pass filter switch rolls off low frequency material when PS15P is used with any Paraline Series or powered élite System subwoofer. Bass boost delivers improved bottom end response from the PS15P without cluttering midrange program or affecting the cabinet's overall.

The cabinet features a passive cooling scheme, allowing the PS15P to operate without need of noisy internal dust collecting fans. Integrated reinforced flypoints enables the PS15P to be transported quickly and easily in any fixed installation.

A: The YSL10P features three EQ models to shape the speaker's tonal response so it will sound best when used for different applications. Other than EQ, there is no built-in processing like reverb, compression, limiter, noise gates, etc. Concert mode is intended for live performance and provides a natural sound for use with instruments and vocals. Club mode boosts bass frequencies and enhances highs for playing back recorded music. Monitor mode delivers a clear tone for voice and minimizes feedback which allows the speaker to work well as a stage monitor. Monitor mode offers the flattest response of the three modes. [1.0 kHz] From a small band perspective, these are loud and clear. I wish there was a bluetooth off switch though. The only way to mute bluetooth seems to be with the app. Once it is connected to a device using the app at least it doesn't seem to be able to connect to another device usuing the app. ie. someone hijacking your speakers. The bluetooth and speaker linking does work well. The audio is very clear, and they are pretty loud. For a sub $500 40lb cabinet made out of plastic it sounds good. Certainly good enough for small gigs. As far as the voicing options, live or monitor sounds best to me using an analog mixer with no other outboard gear. Overall I think this a great buy at this price point. You will want some kind of cover or bag though, they did away this the screen and went with control knobs which is fine, but I feel like they could be a little more vulnerable to me. 5

[35 x 23.5 x 17"] I have no idea why Yorkville speakers (particularly these PS15P Parasource speakers) aren't really that well known or as popular as all the other name brand speakers like QSC JBL EV ect. These speakers have a ton of power, sound and look great and have similar or better specs than lots of other speakers. I'm so glad I purchased these! I'll be picking up the matching subs next..BOOM! Thank you B&H for helping me with my order. You guys have earned my business and went above and beyond to make sure i was taken care of. 5

[1.0 kHz] I have only used these speakers once but suffice it to say I am very impressed with sound level and quality of sound!! I play in a three piece wedding band, drums, bass and guitar. I had a gig at an outside venue and decided to test these speakers out there. I had been led to believe the venue was smaller and guests would number about 150. When I got there the place was bigger than I expected and there were a bit more than 200 guests. To top it off, the dance floor was located a ways from the band. When I fired them up and did the sound check I knew that the speakers were going to handle the event just fine. I used a bass drum mic and an overhead for the drums. I also put the guitar and and a little bass guitar through the speakers. These speakers put out some surprising volume and quality sound. The vocals sounded very nice and clear. Granted, these speakers are and upgrade from the $800 to $900 per speaker I was using, but nevertheless these Yamaha bring the volume and quality of sound that IS the next level. I can only Imagine how they sound with the Yamaha subs which I plan on getting soon. I am very satisfied with my purchase. And bottom line, these speakers make my band sound better, and that is good for business. 5

[68.1 lb] This speaker rocks. It's really loud, made from very great materials and super easy to setup and use. Because it's plastic, it's not heavy, so great for gigging or DJ events. Once again, Mackie is awesome. For the price, $399 on sale, it's amazing. Two of these would make an awesome DJ setup as well. 5
