A: I do not believe adding the Matthews Baby Stand Extension - 12" would solve either problem.

A: That is a pretty big monitor for that stand, but the way you attach a monitor to any stand is normally with a mount like this Matthews mount, which mounts to the back of the monitor with four screws and has a female baby pin receiver in it. Those four holes in the back should be there on any professional production monitor, and they should be in a standard pattern. Hope that helps.

[5/8" Stud] I ordered four of these stands for my small studio. Right out the box the quality is apparent. The legs come folded up against the body of the stand and are easily lowered. They click into place and voila... a sturdy, smooth-rolling, quiet, easily maneuvered stand that looks up to holding your heaviest equipment. I have an Einstein strobe with a 7' Photoflex octadome on one, and though I did add two sandbags for safety sake, the stand handles the load with ease. Can't find anything to not love about them. 5

[Aluminum, Steel] I absolutely love this Avenger stand. The stand is able to withstand a fair amount of weight while giving you the freedom to be mobile with your lighting setup without compromising on the stability factor. Very easy to use on a photo/video shoot. I highly recommend it. 5

[5/8" Stud] Attention LADIES, this is an AWESOME stand if you work alone or like to do so most of the time, like I do... I have a C-stand which requires me to have an assistant when I work, but with this stand I can go solo which I truly enjoy doing. It is compact enough when closed which I really like and has enough weight to handle practically anything. When you lock the wheels, it's not going anywhere. To give you a perspective, I am 5'9", 130# (tall & skinny) and I'm always looking for a way to go lite... the heaviest thing I want to carry is my 3rd love (70-200 2.8...hubby & son 1st & 2nd), everything else must roll or be pulled. I've learned through many mistakes of buying cheaper products to buy quality which in the long run will save you $$$$. If you are in this for the long haul, buy quality. Ladies take it from me, this is a must have if you need a portable stand. 5

[18.2 lb] These stands are fantastic. I have a couple and will be ordering more. They are very well made. So much nicer to have a stand on wheels. They are heavy but I will still use them on location because of the way they handle. 5
