A: When the base is folded it's 2 5/8 ... Don't know about what pouches it will fit in .. Hope this is heplful David L.

A: Can't compare.have no frame of reference. But it is small and solid and portable. I use it with smaller extension of the pod because the opened base, the spead does not call for leaving a camerslaUnattended in remote work. If u stay with the camera there is no problem, or. Set it on a hard surface. Panning, say for sports is a no no, ,but for a panoramic shot patched for a single image it will suffice.

A: Yes, somewhat, but I wouldn't recommend it. These feet are really for stability.

[1.15 lb] This is an excellent addition, especially for the price. Enhance your monopod stability, yet allow for easy and smooth tracking of birds in flight. Only mod: I added a lock nut to secure the base to the bottom of the monopod. Better than the small flat foot on my Benro monopod which, while better than a simple rubber foot, caused minor jerky panning movements. 5

[Male, 3/8"-16] Well built. Pretty handy, although it would not support a big camera and telephoto lens. Great for things like phone selfies, holding a speedlight, etc. 5

[Male, 3/8"-16] The Benro three leg monopod base works great. It is a welcome way to improve mobile filming. The added stability it creates makes shooting with a long lens more productive. The base can lock or swivel about 10 degrees. And tension adjustments allow you to get just the right balance of flexibility and stability. This allows you to even up shots on uneven surfaces while still enjoying a stable yet mobile base. 5

[Male, 3/8"-16] Bought it for a Carbon Fiber Benro monopod. Seems well made. Gives a little added security when using it. Takes some of the weight off your hand and arm. 5

[12.8 oz (363 g)] I know, that headline sounds weird. But it's true. I bought this for use with my tall carbon fiber monopod and it seemed pretty great. But deploying it when you need to move quickly and are chasing shots is just too cumbersome and time consuming. I used it twice before swapping the standard foot back on. I then switched out my ball-head for a gimbal since I run a huge 600 f/4 lens. And one day while just being lazy and watching TV, I grabbed the extra ball-head and attached it directly to this foot. What an epiphany that turned out to be because now I have the perfect little table-top tripod or car-roof mount for when I stop to shoot a sunset or some random bird on a wire somewhere. It not only supports my largest and heaviest setup, but it folds down small enough to fit in a lens slot in my camera bag. So cool and so glad I kept it. 5
